    Ok, hello there forum, nice guide!
    I softmodded my wii like 1-2 years ago and have the 4.1 version on it and an old neogamma launcher channel for backups, I just wanted to ask if anyone could somehow explain to me how I could upgrade my neogamma channel because for newer games like Zelda and stuff, I searched a lot and didn't found an answer to my problem because I need to delete the old neogamma channel first and I don't have a CLUE how to do it.. so if anyone can tell me, that would be great.

    You can either delete with AnyTitle Deleter (use v1.1), you can uninstall it with the WAD you used to istall it in the first place, or just delete it like a normal channel through the Wii settings (that will leave residual files, though).

    Which folder should i put all my game covers in? i'm using USB Loader GX from the package, and i put all my covers in the images folder, as well as the cover folder under usb- loader folder. However, it still didn't work.
    Can somebody help?

    Thank you kind sir, could you please tell me how to install that neogamma channel? Im so clueless, I know. I don't find any good explanation how I could install it properly, only the complete homebrew thingie but my wii is already hacked so I just want to install the new neogamma so it can play new games like Zelda.

    Hi again
    just adding to my above post about formatting sd card to fat 32 with the recommended tool (panasonic formatter). Have been googling madly and as far as I can work out the Panasonic formatter will not format a 2gb sd card to fat 32 it automatically just formats to fat (i think this means fat 16). But I am not sure if my reading of this is correct given the guide recommends this tool and am wondering if anyone else has been stumped by this in chapter 1 of the guide.
    Anyway given it will not work for me i am trying the easeus partition manager .
    However using that program it gives me the option of cluster size and I have no idea what to choose? (otpions are 512bybes, 1kb, 2kb,4kb, 8kb and 16kb). Also somewhere on these forums it suggest if using easeus to partition sd card be sure to do a full format but how do i know if it is a full format - doe this mean to delete the card prior to formatting using the easeus manager?
    Thank you to anyone who can give me some idea how to proceed!
    I'm using the recommended sd card sandisc, class 2, 2gb.

    You'll need to download the WAD file for the latest version of NeoGamma and place it in SD:/wad/ (you'll also need the latest version of the NeoGamma app on your SD card). Then you can install that WAD with Multi-Mod-Manager or WAD Manager.

    You can follow the FAT32 guide on this site. There is a link in my signature.

    hello Im am looking for help regarding a black screen issue. *After not being in the wii hacking scene for quite some time. My family went to play there black wii 4.2u which was softmodded and worked perfectly fine. When trying to load any usb loader it would say error iso 249 is installed as a stub pls reinstall ect... I figured since it has been quite awhile i would try and upgrade any of the hacks i could. I found this guide for any wii even my really slutty one. I follow the guide to the T. I was not presented with any errors. All the checksums matched before i installed the cios ect... Everything went just as the guide said it would. I also upgraded the system menu according to the guide or so i thought. I was on 4.2 u *and when i got done i was on 4.1 u. Like I said the whole process went off without a hitch except now when I try to use any of the usb loaders the loader will come up on screen briefly. It will read from the usb hard drive for just a sec ( as i see the light flash on the harddrive) then will go to a black screen and straight back to the wii sys menu. LAME and its more then likely my fault. *Just to recap as i tend to ramble. I had a completely softmodded black 4.2u wii. *recently it said to reinstall iso 249 bc it was a stub. I followed this guide and everything went well *without errors, but now when i try to use a loader of any kind it pops up for a second goes to black screen and then immediately back to the wii system menu. Pls help any insight would be more the *appreciated.... also ive only done one thing to it since which was to batch reinstall the cios and other wads but to no avail.*

    * * * * * * * * * * *please and thank u in advance
