If you are using MMM to install the wad. Then before you select it for installation choose "Select Another IOS" in the MMM main menu. Now select IOS 36 or 236 or 249 or even 250. Now try installing the WAD again...

One suggestion I'd like to add. If you haven't already please include Wiiflow r417a4 which is in the nightly drop box on the wiiflowiki as the standard wiiflow app installation, for a much more stable and game compatible wiiflow experience. If the objective is to let the end user decide which loader they like best, with certainty I can claim that this version should be what you are providing until the wiiflow-mod svn is synced with the original wiiflow svn and new more stable, feature rich wiiflow revisions are commited in the near future. Reason being is r417 had several bugs which were ironed out ;-) again I don't know if this is the version you are providing as I haven't tried out app pack v3 as of yet but this is the version of wiiflow I would recommend to any new wiiflow end user, plus I wanted to at least put my 2 cents in there lol.

    Thanks again guys.
I have tried a4 and it's much more buggy than a1 (or whatever is in the "committed" downloads"). I have never had problems with a1.

If you have a fat32 partition on your usb device then you can copy the contents of the sd card over to that and not need the card.

I don't know what guide you followed in the past that allowed you to not need the sd card. whatever guide it was must have done full channel installs or had you use the usb device like I said.

really I'm surprised as 417 crashed and went black screen on several games, and had some annoying stability issues. 417a4 is also one of the recommended versions on the wiiflowiki and is far more stable on my setup, but hey if it works for you to each his own right I'm glad you're including wiiflow in there period, and besides this isn't a wiiflow thread, so to get back on topic thanks for all the recent and awesome changes/updates to your guide.

The only thing that really changes was the app pack. The cios pack has the same ones in it, they just swapped out the base on 2 of them.

    I'm on 4.1U

Hi everyone! I've been away from the Wii Hacking scene for probably almost 2 years. I've got my Wii on 4.1U which I hacked using a tutorial here on wiihacks website. I have the Homebrew Channel 1.0.8 on IOS38v14.26.
I'm not sure which tutorial I used, but it worked great and I have homebrew channel, bootmii, priiloader, etc... USB Loader GX works great, although i've never been able to play my original Gamecube games since I hacked the Wii. My problem is, I want to update because i can't play my Super Mario Galaxy 2 backup. I notice that this thread says this tutorial is only for 4.3. Can anyone tell me how to get to 4.3 Please? I haven't seen anymore tutorials to help with updating. Thanks in advance!
