hi guys, recently i follow mauifrog guide to SM my old wii afresh, then i tried to install Opera Internet Channel from narse's thread, but getting error -2011. Should i perform Restore Trucha Bug IOS36 procedure?? knowing that err code comes from IOS36..

Besides the IOS36 revision from the restore trucha bug ios36 thread is lower than the one from mauifrog SM, is it okay if i downgrade it ?? thanks all.

If you follow this guide you will have plenty of trucha'd IOS's. Try some different ones, 36, 236, 249, etc.

Hi all, my wii is on 4.3e softmodded but i have 13 stubbs and no patches any on ios under 200, except IOS58 and IOS80.
My question is should i install cIOS9-v6174-TED.wad, 11, 16, 20, 30 36, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 from this guide over the ones i have aleady? or are these just for SM 4.1.? I read i should never delete any ios under 200 but have also been told i should fix my stubbs to have better compatibility with my loaders as i can only get mario kart to play...any advice appreciated.

You wont be deleting any of it.. the guide just over writes what is already there. downgrading to 4.1 is optional you can skip that step if your want but it is recommended. 4.2 and 4.3 add nothing to your wii except atit piracy stuff..

So if i install any ios under 200 it will downgrade me? i only want to "fix" my stubbs and maybe patch the others under 200 to have a better configuration and stay on 4.3e, How do i do that? (soz in advance if youve reach your noob tolerance level) lol

NO.. skip the 4.1 system menu install but do the rest if you want to stay on 4.3.

    checksum error

    Hello,

New to the forum and trying to follow the guide. I keep getting 1 checksum error on... cios pack v6.md5...checksum did not match. I have downloaded and extracted it to SD card twice and still get the same error. any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

The link to "APP-PACK-V3.zip" in chapter 3 links to "error 003-JAPAN.zip." Might wanna fix that... The link in the spoiler titled "Update your Softmod ANY Wii softmod" works, though.

I want to update my softmod, so does that mean I have to reinstall bootmii to boot2, as well as create another Nand Backup?
My softmod is from about a year ago (around the time I joined).

EDIT: Shifty-Lock did help me, but it was about following this guide. I just wanted to confirm whether I needed to follow the guide as if it were my first time, but I found my answer on the first page.
