Hey guys i have been my soft moddd wii for a while and every once in a while the game becomes unresponsive, either black screen, unresponsive or not processing. Do you think it is related to the mod or the hard drive that stores my games? Any insight would be appreciated.

Must read threads

It says in Chapter 3, at the beginning "This is installed as a backup means to run homebrew should you ever need it. You should not use it, unless you
need to. Don't uninstall this wad, title "MAUI". Keep it on your wii or save it onto your sd card. You can
move it to the far far right of the channel menu or back it up to your pc. You never know, someday you may
Must I worry about that, or is it safe to format my SD Card now? Question 2: Can I enable WiiConnect24 again, so I can access the news and weather channels?
EDIT: So I'm on 4.1U now, and the ONLY way I can update my SM is from the actual menu option, correct?

Sorry, really sketchy about modding the Wii.. Anyways all is good. Can I just use a 16 Gig Flash Drive for the USBLoader? Also, what's the difference between USBLoader CFG and USBLoader GX? The OP's post only installs CFG. I've got all the cIOS and IOS' needed to run apps like WiiFlow now, correct? About running emulation, such as NES, SNES, SEGA Genesis, and Nintendo 64.. I can just install them via Homebrew Browser?
EDIT: It's safe to turn WiiConnect 24 back on now, correct? So I can view the news/weather channels correctly? Also, is there any risk in trying a burnt disc? I'm positive my Wii can read burnt discs, as it's from early 2007 (mid January)
