UPDATE... I found that the console is fine. I finished the guide and all is perfect on the softmod update. I changed the CFG loader to USB loader gx tho. ALL games work perfectly with global IOS at 248. However... I changed game IOS to 250 for CoD 3 and CoD black ops. Monster Hunter 3 works with default global. Online is also working. I bet a read 1000 pages...lol.

What happened is this: I normally connect the Wii console to my AV receiver anolog (RCA) in port. This reciever is full-auto switching, HDMI, component, dvi, digital optical or anolog. When the softmod update entered the MMM screen it took out the game/tv port of the AV receiver. I connected directly to the TV to complete the update and all went well. The AV receiver game/tv port is dead now. I did connect to the aux port and can still auto-switch. Maybe a freak thing... but I will definatley ALWAYS connect directly to a monitor in the future.

Make sure you format your sd card with the quick format button UNCHECKED.
The bomb should be busting out of an envelope in the messages. Lower right corner, click on mail, go to yesterday. If it's not there and your time and date are correct, then backup your saves and format your wii, in the wii settings. I have had a couple wii's that I had to do that to.

The doubt of what one to choose: "mauifrog's guide or modmii" arose into my mind.
I would appreciate if someone could clarify some doubts I have.
If everywhere is written to NEVER DOWNGRADE or mess around with the ios of SM, why in Mauifrog's guide he recomend to downgrade? What do you gain following his sugestion? Or better, what do I lose if I didn't downgrade my 4.3u to 4.1? And if I skip the downgrade portion of the Mauifrog's guide, could I put myself into some kind of danger (brick) or incompatibility with something?

What happens if I ignore the repeated warning to "Have 350 free blocks of nand space"?

I did not check before starting this process, and now I have lost same game saves. Just confirming those are gone forever because of my screw up.

At first I thought they would be on the sd card backup I made, but there weren't. I'm not sure if they were saved on the sd card or on the system.
