Okay, so in order to play skyward sword on a Wii, what is the basic requirement? im utterly confused right now, and in need of some help :O
Hey guys i started a softmod from here
and used the PDF
Ive done up to step 3 just after using priiloader
Now i want to get rid of EVERYTHING i did in that guide, and follow this guide instead.
How can i remove all that and start over with this?
Thx for that, im new to all this...
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with this:
I followed the guide and installed homebrew channel and priiloader and everything essential, and games will run trough my kingston 16GB pendrive just fine, if not for this weird problem... after 1 or 2 hours of playing the audio starts to slowly fade, after 30mins~1 hour it will be completely gone, even with the TV maximum sound. it seems to happen on official games and even on the wii menu. To make it weirder it goes back to normal after turning off the wii, but if turned back on too fast it will happen again faster than if waiting a few hours (in 10 minutes it will have no sound again).
I'm not sure if this is a homebrew issue, but it never happened before softmodding it. Anyone knows what could be the problem?
The guide is excellent. If you carefully proceed as instructed you will not face any problem. I noticed that with CFG-USBLoader some old games with low graphic will not work at all, for example “Tetris Party Deluxe”, “Bust a Move Bash” even if you try any IOS.
If you use USB loader GX all games will work except recent new games like “Call of Duty MW 3”, “Call of Duty Black Ops” etc. You have to use IOS224 for these games.
Anyway thanks a lot mauifrog
An update on my remote(s) issue: I did all available updates to cIOS available in this guide (guess I missed them before). Remember, these are MotionPlus INSIDE remotes.
Now both remotes work perfectly fine outside of homebrew. WiiWare, VC titles are also fine. But I'm still only able to use the Black remote to control homebrew apps (HBC, USB loaders). I've done the syncing process (button, not home screen) a few times, Pink first, Black first...Doesn't make any difference. As soon as you press A on the pink remote outside homebrew, it'll go back to its assigned slot.
Looking at the print on the side of the remotes, the Black one has an ACN, FCC, and IC numbers on the side. The Pink one, however, also includes a "Model" on the side (RVL-036)...Is it possible that Nintendo has been able to disable certain remote in Homebrew? It is possible that the modding community hasn't come across this yet?
Like I said in my initial post, I've modded a few Wii's and never had this sort of thing happen. I sold my Wii last year, but wanted one for Skyward Sword. Now it seems as though the new hardware is causing some issues. Luckily the updates seem to have fixed any wonky things the Black remote was doing - if it was doing anything to begin with - I was exhausted, and I get the feeling the pink one being screwy messed with my head.
Now, the Pink remote will turn off when I run homebrew, but I CAN turn it back on once the game boots. For some games (Donkey Kong Country Returns), I actually have to wait for the game to prompt to connect Player 2's remote. But in New Super Mario Bros, I can turn the Pink one back on as soon as I get passed the wrist strap screen...
Any ideas? This is weird stuff...Doing a search only yields results where it's like "you didn't sync right, derp!". But this isn't the case here.
