I have been following the Softmod any Wii guide and require help with a issue I'm having.
I downloaded all required files and copied them to my 2GB SD card with the correct directory structure as shown in the guide.
I checked all Checksums and did not get any errors.
When I launch WAD Manager to install the 25 WADS I am successfully installing 24 but I continue to get 1 error with the following WAD
    1OS236.WAD Content 2/15 - (-1022)
Can someone please help me with this, due to I cannot continue until all 25 WADS install correctly.
    I am currently using IOS236 v6174 and 3.4E Firmware.

Error ret 1022 means the 1OS236.wad is bad.

Thanks for the quick reply Mauifrog.
Should I delete the 1OS236.wad from my SD card and download it again from the internet ?

Thanks again guys for the advice, I have followed every step of the guide and everything has installed and worked.
I haven't tried booting a ISO game from my hard drive as yet but the USB Loader app boots up fine.
I have formatted a USB drive using WBFS Manager and am in the process of copying a ISO game file over to the drive.
Fingers crossed the game boots ok, will keep you posted.
    Cheers Rick

Put the disk in and launch the loader?
Sent from my van, down by the river.

I followed all steps in this guide and my Wii actually downgraded. It was at version 4.2U previously, and is now at 4.1U. Official games/discs still work but backup discs (confirmed working on other modded Wii) do not work. Did this guide screw me over?
