    partition fat1 not found

Firstly, thanks so much for your guide. I am very new to this but found it very easy to follow.

I got it up and running fine, but think one of the kids tried to "install" the game that was on the usb. Now all I get is the following error "partition fat1 not found, select a different partition or format a wbfs partition". I've tried to select the other options (P2, P3, P4) but these don't respond.

Would really appreciate some help. Thanks.

I followed this guide and installed everything according to the instructions. Now I want to update the cios, but in my HBC I don't see a multi-mod manager. I only have configuralble usb loader, homebrew browser, savegame manager and wiimc. So how do I get either the mod manager or install the cios

If you followed this guide then you should not need to update any cios. If you feel the need to update the d2x ones you should use the d2x installer. Maui take out the MMM to protect you from yourself, but you can find that HERE, put it in your apps folder.

    letterbomb and bootmii

um hi mauifrog, im new to this soft modding stuff and ive been taking a look at your guide and a couple of others.
while first doing it i was following this guide
    http://wiihomebrew.me/priv/How%20to%...0Wii%204.3.pdf
and ive done up to part 3 and up to part 4
however when i looked at yours it says to create a backup of bootmii. However when i try to load bootmii via the homebrew channel, it just hangs at a black screen.
    Can you help me?
I am using the letterbomb and i believe i installed bootmii and a boot 1 version was installed

help needed with my sisters wii

i had it working with neo gamma disc loader a really long time ago. she's just given it back to me saying it not working so i was going through the softmod any wii thread and i was trying the wad install, and the 25 wads in step 1 ran through really quick when installing and came back with the message 25 did not complete.
i did the verify checksum step and everything returned fine with no errors. It doesnt say on the thread about this issue as far as i can make out.
can anyone help and throw a bit of light on the prob im having?

    cheers,
    looperman

p.s. just to add that it say Ticket (-2011) after every line

This is about the guide, so it should be asked in the guide. I a, going to answer you then move this post to where you should have put it.

NOTE: If a wad fails to install, try to install that wad again. If the wad still fails, press B to go back to the main menu, select reload ios, reload ios236, then try to install the wad that is giving you trouble again. DO NOT PROCEED TO THE NEXT STEP UNTIL ALL WADS INSTALL
    Did you reload ios 236?

    Hi
Is there anyway I can rename the game file with the actual game name and have it still picked up in the game list on USB Loader.....i.e. insted of SCJP4Q.wbfs it should be Lego Pirates.wbfs ?? it would make life easier so that I knew what game was what stored on my pc and USB stick,

    Thanks for any info.

    Dave

No, but it can go in a sub directory with the game name and code then the .wbfs file inside

    example:

    WBFS/SM5EAF_Power_Rangers_Samurai_/SM5EAF.wbfs
