There are 2 alternate versions you should try if the first one fails to load... it's in the guide. Have you already tried those?

edit: i also tried with lexar 1GB sd card and also nothing happened
Try downloading this --> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4398921/MMM-...i_0.8_BBB2.rar ---> format your sd card again and extract the content of that onto the sd...

Let us know if that works because I haven't tested it myself.

Note - I saw another similar post recently stating the same problem. If you look at the download title of the bannerbomb its suppose to say v2 not v1 like it is from the guides download....

To stop any confusion the root of your sd card should look like this

Unable to switch my 4.3u from NTSC to PAL

My sole reason for softmoding my wii is to be able to switch the video output
from NTSC to PAL and play the PAL games I have purchased.

I was able to follow the first chapter and install HBC.
    I have a NAND backup.
My wii connects to the internet in HBC.

I am able to install all IOS's in Chapter 2, with
    ModPack-PAL-E
and any combination of the other options without
    and wad failing, however the
final step where I am to launch the HBC fails.

Upon inspection my wii was semi-bricked, however
I was able to fix this by reinstalling another
    system menu over the internet
Under Manage System Menu with MMM v13.4.
I was unable to select a region other than NTSC here:
    Version: System Menu v4.3 NTSC
    Region: North America (U)

My question is: How can I go about changing
the System Menu to PAL from my current
    situation?

I have attached the csv output from
    CB2_BB_SysCheck_1.6.1
    to help with your diagnosis.
This program did not have any
trouble getting certificates from the NAND,
    and ran sucessfully,
however, when it tried to go back to the
menu after 5s it hung with a pattern on the
screen that is the same every time I run
    the syscheck.

I removed my console ID. Please ask if it is needed.

    Spoiler

The larger question is, why would you do this in the first place? To play out of region games (backups) there's absolutely no reason to change your Wii from NTSC to PAL. That's something a competent backup loader can do for your via its own internal settings. You have missed the entire point or exercise if that's all you came away with...

If this really cannot be done, then I guess I need to use an HDMI wii cable and
    get a new television.

There is an option to region change in chapter two, do that. Download mod-pack pal and change the region to euro, done.

Curious, why install USBLoaderCFG.dol via Priiloader? What does this do exactly over running it only as boot.dol in apps? Also, if I were to switch to another USB loader later on/or update CFG, would they have to uninstall/or update USBLoaderCFG.dol?

    Thanks in advance.

If this has been answered elsewhere I apologize, tried the search function.

If you do a dol via Priiloader, your Wii when powered up would bypass the regular System Menu and directly load whatever dol was specified. Some folks do this to keep their curious kids from screwing with the Wii.

Excellent. Thanks for the quick response.

Another question pertaining to your answer, so if I had priiloader set to boot that dol instead, and it wasnt in the root of my SD, would it boot to a black screen or something similar? I ask this because I see that in the app pack this dol is in the root.

I ask the question for knowledgeable purposes.
