    1. I went to the store to buy a Sandisk 2GB SD Card.
    2. Went home, put it into my laptop and then formatted it. (Right click on SD in computer, select format, uncheck quick format, and select FAT32. I then pressed format, and waited until it was done.)
    3. Next, I turned on my wii so I could find out what my mac address was.
    4. I went to Letterbomb and selected 4.3., put in my mac address, and then selected "Cut the red wire"
    5. I opened the file, and dragged both the files (*besides the txt files) into the sd card.
    6. I then took the sd card out, and put it into my wii.
    7. I waited until I got the Letterbomb mail, and then I clicked it.
    8. Everything was going fine until I got to the point where it told me to "Press 1 to continue". I click 1 on my wii remote, and nothing happens.

My Wii version is 4.3u, I've had the Homebrew Channel on my Wii before, but somehow it got deleted. I believe it was easier since it was a lower version. I do not rapid click "1" on press anything on the remote before the "Press 1 to continue" part comes up.. so it's not because I'm clicking the buttons too soon. Also, I have nothing plugged into my wii. No gamecube controller, memory cards, nothing.

If anyone could help me that would be fantastic..Thank you!
Your installer.log looks perfect, and your wii supports boot2 bootmii- bonus. Not sure why it is freezing on you. Try try try again, press the 1 button a few times. Hopefully it will go, be patient. If the does not work for you-
    1- delete sd:\boot.dol and/or boot.elf
    2- extract bootmii_folder-NTSC.zip or bootmii folder-PAL.rar to sd:\
    3- extract bootmii-booter.elf.zip to sd:\ and to sd:\apps\cboot2
    4- extract Hackmii_0.8_bootmini.zip to sd:\
5- make sure you keep sd:\private on the card (letterbomb)
6- Run letterbomb, bootmii loads, make a nand backup
7- Load bootmini.elf from the bootmii sd menu
If HBC installs, go to chapter 2. If hackmii still freezes, continue-

    8- delete sd:\boot.elf
9- Download chapter 2 files, modpack and ciospack, extract to sd:\
10- Do letterbomb again, MMM loads
11- Select App Manager, load cboot2
12- bootmii booter loads cboot2 loads MMM
13- Complete chapter 2, install the wads, install priiloader, etc
14- Do chapter 1- "Softmods with HBC installed" load the hackmii isntaller from the backup HBC (black water looking channel)
    15- Install HBC, boot2 bootmii
16- Do chapter 3 (do not repeat chapter 2)
    -Stop,

    Hope that works for you.

Certain games that are loading-intensive (dual layered, cut scenes, and so forth) are known to be choppy --- at least on disc. Via USB, not so much.
at first i thought it might be the drive, but ive used several usb3.0 drives in conjunciton with mauifrog's softmod any wii guide and never ran into an issue like this.

    re: cutscenes, etc.

on disc, about the most ive ever noticed was a long load time due to a scratched disc. it still boggles my mind how the second wii was able to read the hd even after i completed this guide on it, but the initial wii would read, load, but everything would be really choppy once loaded.

On disc (as in optical), backups run/load at exactly one-half speed of a normal, pressed original disc. That's a limitation of the debug exploit that allows for the backup loading in the first place. The later statements you make above could be attributable to any number of things/reasons as to cause, impossible to say.

Hi, I do not have a folder in my SD card called "apps". Also, I have tried rapidly clicking the "1" on my wii remote when (Press 1 to continue) pops up, and pressing it slowly a few times in a row but it still froze.

Thank you for helping me out by the way! I appreciate it.
