I am now enjoying Xenoblade Chronicles on my modded WII thanks to you! I would like to know if I can put more than one game on a USB drive. Would that be possible?

I'm done with the modding, but I have another question. My usb stick is 16gb, I can only fit two or so games on it at once - if I play a game using the USB stick on my Wii, and I want to play a different game later, can I simply move the game files off of the USB stick to a backup folder on my computer and then put them back if I want to play that game again? And what about save files, are those stored on the Wii like normal?

Someone tell me what am I supposed to do when a game is asking me to update before it lets me play it?

I did not install the Priiloader so I didn't block updates. However, is it necessary to update to play a game?

Game in question is Samurai Warriors 3 which is a dual layer DVD game, so I use legitimate disc instead of back up.
    Wii is v4.3u.

If I block the update with Priiloader will it let me bypass and will the game work fine?

    Thanks.

If your wiis IOS are up to date then yes.. But why didnt you install priiloader? if you didnt follow THIS guide I suggest you run through it. beginning to end.. without skipping stuff.

Did I come off like a jerk?? Read more here

i'm sorta confused as to what priiloader is really for anyways....doesn't priiloader serve some of the same purposes as bootmii such as for brick proofing?

its one of the reasons why I just skipped it because it seemed unnecessary.

i'm not sure if it was this particular guide or the one by user dogeggs (long time ago) but I remember I installed priiloader before on my 1st Wii, and I couldn't get to or find the system hacks menu in order to block disc updates, nintendo updates, and such. this is the other reason why I decided to skip it.

i've now softmodded my 2nd (black) wii about 2 weeks ago, although I skipped the priiloader part.

I guess I will give it a second go and see what happens.

EDIT: by the way, thanks guys. I was uncertain as to whether it was actually necessary to pay any attention to what the wii was telling me to do, in order to get that particular game to work.

I believe I figured out the problem, was it because I've been doing quick format instead of full? I will try doing full format tonight to see if that's the problem.
