    Hi, everyone.
I have a 4.3e black Wii and I followed this guide to the letter however, I can't do chapter 2 because BootMii won't load. The drive keeps flashing (the blue light) but the screen stays black.
User playerkp420 suggests I format the card without the option quick Format selected (will do asap) and that I should install BootMii as Boot2 (which I think I did, but will reinstall it anyway)
If this already happened to anyone please post the solution.

    Thanks.

Theres a small mess up on one of the links. Under bannerbomb v2, the link to get it directs you to the link of getting bannerbomb v1.

charles david brown, this is an official wii remote, and its happening with every wii remote i use on the system, again i mentioned that whenever i selected an option after clicking the little wii button in the bottom left hand corner, it made a buzzing noise instead of a "ding" noise and i tried pointing at the screen from every position of my living room. again this never happened on v4.3u and i have followed all the directions properly. i think something really is wrong with the system menu Cios

I did prepare the sd card. However, it does not load BootMii. I will soon try to format the sd card without quick format and give it another try.

    Look here:

See where it says Prepare a SD card? that is what they are talking about, not formatting.

Wink Followed guide 100% - Lost my Wifi Connection

I really thought I followed the guide 100%, and my Wii is showing it is on 4.1u - I lost my Wifi connection, I can set up a new connection, it finds my access point, will pick up the type of encryption I have but will not connect... I checked the Priiloader and have everything disabled. I saw other posts where someone said there was a setting for "failed connection check" but that option isn't even in my prii menu.

Network notes - I tried connecting the wii to a test B / Open network, No encryption, my regular home network connection, mixed with WPA2 encryption, and even a 3rd test WEP network. I verified connection was good before I tried to get the Wii on it.

Homebrew chanel is loaded, and everything looks to be working fine. I tried to put a disc in (retail Goldeneye disc, I dont do backups), and now it is telling me I have to do an update to play it.

This was my first crack at modding, so if I missed a step please chalk it up to info-overload. If there is something I need to do to update, please let me know! I would love to get my connection back up.

Thanks for your help. It was the card. I went and bought a new one (SanDisk this time) and it worked.

    Thanks.
