Thank you very much for this very useful post. Worked perfectly on my USB Drive. I was looking for a guide or part of a guide that gave step by step instructions for putting saved GC Games on the same drive with my saved Wii Games. GC games work from saved disks, but want to put those saved games onto my USB drive with my Wii games. Is there anything special that I have to do with the USB drive in order to put my GC games on it and also is there a special program I need to put them on there, example: Wii game manager for Wii Games. If anyone reading this could please steer me to where I can find a guide to do this, it will be much appreciated. Thanks for any help, Please.

So I just follow "Update any existing softmod" section of that post?

I was having trouble getting GX to find my games until I re-named all the directories, apparently it's really fussy about the format of directory names on the HDD. Rip a game with GX and see what it names the directory, usually it's something like "The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword [SOUE01]" where the letters in the brackets are the game ID.

Yep, or the Spoiler saying if you already have HBC installed.

Ah so just these steps then:

    Extract WiiMod-58-61_Hackmii_1.1.0 to sd:\
    Load the HomeBrew Channel
Launch WiiMod - WiiMod will load
    -Select Wad Manager -Press A
-Press 1, -press A -Install all wads
    -IOS58 and IOS61 will install
    -Press "any button" to continue
-Exit WiiMod to go back to the Homebrew Channel
    -Select hackmii_installer_v1.0 - Press A to Launch
    -Hackmii Installer Loads
Edit: I found the section you were talking about:
"If you have HBC 1.1.0 running on ios58, bootmii, and a nand backup- Do Chapter 2 and Chapter 3."

I'll come back after I finish.

Okay so WiiFlow recognizes the HDD, but USB Loader GX does not. This is after I updated with that guide.

And you probably have to delete the global config file when changing versions of GX. I have a recent version linked in my signature).
