Ive tried just strait formating now, but no luck. It allows me to change the cluster size, but when I go to test it (after applying changes of coarse) it still shows up as 64kb. Its like the program just ignores what I want it to do, and chooses to make it 64kb anyways. I know its formating because it goes through the process and erases the old text file from last time. I also tried mini tool but that didnt work either.

Sorry for double (kinda) post, I thought it didnt apply.

I'm using the free version as well. Try removing the partion all together, create a new one, and then use format to tell it to go 32k. Then apply once when that is all set up (I know I did that with my new drive, probably didn't have to delete and create the partition, but I know it did work for me).

EDIT: Next time, instead of double-posting, you can just edit the original.

Woot! it worked! I was about to try your method, but I ended up running minitool once more to just strait format it. Im not sure whats changed this time but it ended up working ^_^. Thanks for the help! Hopefully everything else goes smoothly, I got my wii backups running just fine, but now I get to tackle the beast that is DIOS_MIOS. Great community!

How do i rip a dual layer game like smash brother brawl ? Wiiflow keeps saying i dont have enough space available but i actually do. Is it because im using a FAT32 ? What i understand is you cant write a file larger then 4 gb in a fat32

I've ripped dual-layer games to a FAT32 drive before with no issues at all (it split the image just fine). If WiiFlow is telling you you don't have enough space, it's probably right. I guess it could be a bug in an older version. What version are you using?

Sounds like either a formatting error or the Wii isn't detecting the drives correctly. And since it happened with more than one drive, maybe it's a hardware issue? Is it plugged into port0? Do you have access to another Wii that you could try the disk and drive with? Did you format the drives using this guide?

I thought this was the Fat32 guide ? and yes i used this guide but i think you're right these USB ports are dead long long time ago i was using a non compatible drive for some time then one day it just stopped working. No USB loader can mount any of my USB drives except Wii Flow 4.1 Mod for some reason and i manage to play games off the drive but it will only load under ios 251 ( not sure why 251 only works ) I found this out because i wanted to see if i can fix my Wii by updating my wii's ios'es with the softmod any wii guide. Games work but every video lags like hell which means its reading the drive super slow. I play my wii game off the SD card now it runs 100 % had no playing from the SD card got this good over time. Oh yeah i bought this Wii mother-bored from china on ebay to replace a bricked wiii it may have been a fake who knows ...

Wow... Yes this is the FAT32 guide. That was just said. Anyway, not really much we can do about bad ports. Glad you found a workable solution (SD card).

I did all of this and, whenever I try to install any game, it just stop at a certain percentage, and it doesn't go past that. I tried FAT32, WBFS format, and it always does this, any help?

I've tried this with 5 different games, USB Loader, cfg loader, wiiflow, and it still won't work
