Hi thanks for the replys no I don't own the games and the games are MW3 and mario and sonic and London Olympics and Rayman originals and if they are corrupted is there anyway of testing the games before I put them on the hard drive? For future use
Just wanted to note that the Western Digital My Book
Essential 2 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive
they sell at Wal-Fart And Tar-Jiz are junk.
Ill note that I went through two before I said the hell with this and got my $ back.
The reason they crap out?
I think it has something to do with the manual power switch on the back and the fact that even after the spin down is disabled they tend to go into "green mode".
So yes..it works..but after too many times of going into green mode, spindown/ and having to be turned on after the spindown...yes they will indeed short themselves out!
You have been warned!!
Go with the Seagate externals this generation.
They are very reliable.
I also want to note that the WD 2TB has trouble working if there is a SD card in the Wii.
Ive got a SeaGate and Im happy to say there is no spindown (after disabling spindown) and reformatting the HDD.
AND No power button to turn on after it goes into "green mode" (falls asleep).
(Sorry for the double post)

I had nothing put trouble from a 500gb WD passport. Won't be buying one of those again. I suspect the shop had a lot of returns as they just gave me my money back.
Sorry! I haven't been on this site for awhile. My PC crashed and finally fixed it. I'm try to run Wii Game manager again but getting this.
Can anyone help me? Sorry if I'm posting this on the wrong thread
Hello total noob here with a couple questions that I did not see answered already....Can I just use my windows 7 disk manager to do all this instead of the Easeus partition program? Also I have a Sandisk cruzer 16gb flash drive which is supported and it says its already fat32 and that it is primary when I plug it to my pc,would I still need to all this for it? Also in chapter two "copying your original discs to your hard drive with your usb loader" is this done on the Wii console itself or on my pc? I am trying to get everything straight and understand everything before I even attempt to do any of it.
2) Possibly not
3) On the wii via a usb loader

That is correct but just bear in mind that fat has a 4gb file limitation
