No, I have not tried that one yet. Since I didn't have to press 1 when I used my USB Flash drive, I didn't know to do that. I will try it though.

Tried changing the boot from option by pressing (1) on HB and still didn't work. The FAT32 partition isn't but 10GB but I haven't changed it any because I haven't gotten it to work with just simple HB apps yet. There is no need changing the entire drive (500GB) to FAT32 from FAT32 & NTFS if I can't get the basic HB apps to work.

I deleted all of the files on the FAT32 partition and extracted App-Pack V3 from the MauiFrog guide and put it on the FAT32 partition. Still got the littel green blip at top right quadrant.

I can place the USB Flash drive in and HB & apps work without any problem. Same exact files on both.

Anything I may can try???? or Anyone have any suggestions???----Help!!

I know the cios are getting more gooder as time goes on, but there is a noticable trend here that usb 3.0 drives are not as compatible. I get that it says backwards compatible, for sure. Just saying.

I think; a page or so back. Someone stated that they had this exact HDD and loved it.

I would try to just go all FAT32 with it but I don't think it will be any different from just that standpoint, being that it isn't recognizing the FAT32 partition (wouldn't matter if the drive was 5GB or 500GB).

All I know to do would be to re-format it, and try the same steps again. or Maybe put a game on it in a WBFS folder and see if it will find the game from CFG Loader channel.

I just think it could be something minor but what----------I don't know...lol

It came with a "Y" Style USB. Whereas the user plugs one end into the HDD, and the other end has two USB connectors.

The instructions state that you use one of these connectors and if there is a power management issue--->then plug the second plug in, in addition to the first plug. This is suppose to use the power output from an addition port, for HDD power. This is only for power issues though. I just use one on my Laptop and it works fine.

Do you think a plug designed for use with a 2.0 on each end would work? May not be one for the Prestige that is 2.0. I would think that the wiring configuration is the same except the 3.0, added a few more, but still has the wires in it also for use with the 2.0.

You know, this end on the HDD (the end that plugs in to a computer or wii) has a 2.0 (white on the inside) usb and the other plug has a 3.0 (blue on the inside) usb end.

The plug that plugs into the HDD is altogether different.

EDIT from here down: Should I install the d2x cIOS and see if that works?

I think that I soft modded my Wii's somewhere around June 2011 and I followed Mauifrog's Softmod guide. I just don't know if there are some cIOS updates that I don't have.

Nice guide and very simple to follow. I have had stable results with loading games so far.

One question I did have was in relation to Wii Game Manager v1.5...

When transferring an ISO file from your PC to a FAT32 drive, is it ok to 'split' the file instead of selecting the option 'No split'?

I have some game files that are larger than 4GB, therefore exceeding the file size limitation of FAT32.

Could somebody also point me in the right direction for being able to load everything from my USB HDD (apps etc)? I would like to free up my SD Memory card so I can use it to hack my friends console!

Thank you for looking, any advice would be much appeciated.
