    Exclamation Install Priiloader To Block Online & Disc Updates & more

    Priiloader is a homebrew application which places itself before the system menu and patches the system menu to remove limitations and add a few things. Since its put before the system menu, it allows you to load into the homebrew channel directly. This allows you to repair your wii if you should ever brick, once the brick isn't a full brick.

    Priiloader is perfectly safe. It take seconds to actually install, and provided you don't lost power during that, it won't brick you. Once you have it, provided your System Menu or System Menu IOS aren't deleted, you cannot be bricked. This means you are protected from Banner Bricks etc. Also, you can set Priiloader to autoboot BootMii/IOS, and have BootMii/IOS setup to load SNEEK, meaning you can boot directly into a SNEEK environment, i.e. it is IMPOSSIBLE to brick your Wii, as your real NAND isn't touched.

    Note- If you followed Cile and/or Mauifrog's Softmod Guides you should already have Priiloader installed. You can check by pressing and holding the reset button when your Wii is booting.

    Updated some little things:

    - Reuploaded priiloader again with the <no_ios_reload> line from the meta.xml file in the pack
    - Corected a few typos
    - Added a little more info

    You need to add hold reset!

    why would you do that?
    - 0.7 reloads ios and keeps ahbprot making it just as "safe" as using IOS36
    - 0.7 was tested and marked fine by your staff (http://www.wiihacks.com/wiihacks-mem...-released.html)

    and 0.4 -> 0.7 also fixes:
    - title languages showing up fucked up(like german, chinese, or any language having its own symbols)
    - fixed title launching on some wii's
    - other trivial fixes that aren't really important

    and a side note, I prefer links to my site since then i can keep more track of how many times/often priiloader gets downloaded but i dont mind mirrors

    @bmarlo- Thanks for pointing that out.

    @daco:

    I know. I just think it wil be more safe until a new HBC that has more stability with AHBPROT is released. That's why I removed teh <no_ios_reload> line in the meta.xml

    and 0.4 -> 0.7 also fixes:
    - title languages showing up fucked up(like german, chinese, or any language having its own symbols)
    - fixed title launching on some wii's

    I was just pointing "some" fixes. I and other people at the forum know of the good fixes you've done to priiloader in the last updates.

    and a side note, I prefer links to my site since then i can keep more track of how many times/often priiloader gets downloaded but i dont mind mirrors
    I had to upload it myself to edit the meta...

    but the installer reloads ios AND keeps ahbprot; HBC is totally unrelated now (except for that 0.5s when the installer does its magic but that wont brick your wii if anything went wrong...) :-/

    also, and i said 2 serious fixes that imo should be named if you are going to name a few :P

    0.5 worked fine for me but not for others...
    You cant say the same thing wont happen with 0.7 for sure...(You agree that you install this tool at your own risk, and that the author can not be held responsible)
    Same as 0.6 giving random black screens

    Don't see the big idea with ahbprot if it just doesnt work right...and many people that install can hardly figure out to hold B and press + to use ios36....

    Anyway any guide on this forum has them install patched ios36....

    because those(0.5 & 0.6) didn't reload ios and had all the (rubish) left behind of hbc to deal with
    0.7 does not since it reloads ios

    I get it but really same thing here...[if ahbprot fails it reloads ios36]
    what i gather from everyone its not safe to use/utilize ahbprot....until they release(hopefully) the hbc 1.0.9 so nobody has to workaround the problem

    i understand what you think , and how concerned you are after the whole 0.5 fiasco (i was as well; and 0.7 was originally planned to use IOS 61 or 36) ; but thats only the case with 0.5 & 0.6
    they got AHBPROT from HBC. because they got AHBPROT from HBC that means HBC did not reload ios (or else all rights are lost; including AHBPROT) meaning the loaded app has to deal with anything from HBC (including the callback that made 0.5 crash and the memory junk 0.6 had to deal with). this is why a new HBC release would fix those installations completely

    however

    because 0.7 reload ios (and regets ahbprot thx to the libdi mod) it has cut itself completely loose from anything HBC left behind ,either good things(HBC's ahbprot, identified as HBC,...)and bad things (memory issues,crashes,...)
    however it uses AHBPROT from HBC to do the trick; and this is why i said there is like a 0.5s moment that it uses the ahbprot from HBC to reload ios and re-get ahbprot.

    a new HBC release *could* make it as safe as the method 0.7 uses but i dont think it will. using AHBPROT from a different app will always result in having something not right from the previous app (something you can notice or something completely unnoticeable) untill you reload IOS
