Install Priiloader To Block Online & Disc Updates & more
http://wiibrew.org/w/images/1/1d/Priiloader.png
Priiloader is a homebrew application which places itself before the system menu and patches the system menu to remove limitations and add a few things. Since its put before the system menu, it allows you to load into the homebrew channel directly. This allows you to repair your wii if you should ever brick, once the brick isn't a full brick.
Priiloader is perfectly safe. It take seconds to actually install, and provided you don't lost power during that, it won't brick you. Once you have it, provided your System Menu or System Menu IOS aren't deleted, you cannot be bricked. This means you are protected from Banner Bricks etc. Also, you can set Priiloader to autoboot BootMii/IOS, and have BootMii/IOS setup to load SNEEK, meaning you can boot directly into a SNEEK environment, i.e. it is IMPOSSIBLE to brick your Wii, as your real NAND isn't touched.
Note- If you followed Cile and/or Mauifrog's Softmod Guides you should already have Priiloader installed. You can check by pressing and holding the reset button when your Wii is booting.

Hardmods
3.0-4.1 Bannerbomb v1
This is only if you have a hardmod and don't want to install HBC for some reason.

First download this pack-
MMM-36- cIOS__BB1.zip
- Extract to SD.

- Select, Save settings -Press A
- Press B to go back to the main priiloader screen
- You're done!
Congrats!! Now you have succesfully installed priiloader and its system menu hacks. If you had problems during the installation refer to the FAQ/TroubleShooting section below.
What's this Hack For?
What's this hack for?
Not all of these hacks will show up for you, because some only apply for specific System Menus.
Re-enable Bannerbomb v2 - Allows the use of Bannerbomb 2 on System Menu 4.3. You would get an error otherwise.
Block Online Updates - You can run channels that connect to the internet (the Shop Channel, Nintendo Channel, etc.) without being prompted to update.
Block Disc Updates - You can play discs without being forced to do a System Menu update.
Skip disc update check - The same as Block Disc Updates. It's just under a different name.
Region Free EVERYTHING - Allows you to play Wii/GC discs and channels that are outside of your region.
Region Free GC Games - Allows you to play GC games that are outside of your region.
Region Free GC Games (No VM Patch) - The same as "Region Free GC Games"
Region Free Wii Games - Allows you to play Wii games that are outside of your region.
Region Free Channels - Allows you to play channels that are outside of your region.
Lock System Menu with Black Screen - It will just load your Wii to a black screen. It's pointless.
Remove Diagnostic Disc Check - Allows you to auto-boot Wii games through the Recovery Menu.
Remove diag disc check - The same as "Remove Diagnostic Disc Check"
No System Menu Sounds AT ALL - Basically the same as muting your TV. No sound will come from the channels (including the Disc Channel) or from clicking/scrolling, and the background music will be gone.
No System Menu Background Music - A better alternative to the above for most people. Only the background music will be muted, so you can still here the sound when you click on a channel and when scrolling.
No-Delete HAXX,JODI,DVDX,DISC,DISK,RZDx - Prevents deletion of old versions of the HBC, Twilight Hack (any version), and DVDX. It is unnecessary if you have homebrew up to date.
Remove NoCopy Save File Protection - A useless hack. You can copy protected save files to your SD card, but you still can't copy them back.
Force Disc Games to run under IOS249 - Makes discs run under 249 instead of the IOS they are supposed to. It can be helpful if you don't have the required IOS, but should not be used as a permanent fix.
Auto-Press A at Health Screen - You will see the health screen at startup, but only for a second.
Replace Health Screen with Backmenu - Same as above, but instead of the health screen, you will simply see a black screen. It will not speed up the boot process.
Force Standard Recovery Mode - Normally you would have to destroy a GC controller's d-pad to enter Recovery Mode. This will boot straight to it. This is of no use to most people.
OSReport to UsbGecko(slot B) - Outputs info to a USB Gecko if you have one. For developers only.
OSReport to UsbGecko(GeckoOS,B) - As far as I know, this is the same thing.
Move Disc Channel - It allows you to move the Disc Channel just like any other channel (by grabbing with B+A). It also lets you move empty slots, but there is no use to that.
Enabling the Region Free hacks is not recommended as it can cause system instability, and is of no use to most people.
Set priiloader to autoboot to specific app
Removing Priiloader
This is just if for some reason you want to remove Priiloader.
You can reinstall your system menu to remove priiloader. Everytime you update, reinstall, remove your system menu priiloader disappears.
Check Your Wii's firmware and region by going into settings and it shoud appear in the top right. The region shows at the side of the firmware version. For example:
- 3.0|3.1|3.2|3.4|4.0|4.1|4.2|+
E -Europe,Australia=PAL
U -America=NTSC
J -Japan=NTSC-J
- Download your system menu version using
NUSD
- Choose your system menu version from the list and select "pack wad" and start the download
- Put the downloaded .wad file in a folder called "wad" on the root of your sd card
- Run Wad Manager and install the system menu wad and return to the HBC
CAUTION: DO NOT LOSE POWER WHILE INSTALLING THE SYSTEM MENU!
FAQ/TroubleShooting--
I heard that I needed a patched System IOS in order to install priiloader... is that true?
Not anymore, that was preloader that needed the patched System IOS. Now, all you need is a way of booting homebrew.
Help!! I'm a n00b, how can I install priiloader!!??
Check
this guide!
Does priiloader work on every wii firmware?
Yes, priiloader v0.7 is supposed to work on every firmware.
My wii has Cios/Darkcorp installed will I have any issues?
It will give cios error if you try to use corped ios 36,some people had issues with ios36v65535. But I recommend installing Priiloader first for the brick protection in case something goes wrong.
Why version 0.7 and not other versions?
Priiloader v0.7 is the latest there were some bug fixes and good changes. I also recommend Priiloader v0.4, the only thing v0.7 has that 0.4 doesn't, is that it has the feature to autoboot to the HBC and the hacks_hash.ini support.
Don't even try installing v0.5, that version was removed because of a bug in the installer that was bricking wiis.
Can Priiloader help if I get a full brick?
No, Bootmii as boot2 is the only thing that can give you full protection.
What's this hacks_hash.ini file?
Those are the system menu hacks. This file needs to be at the priiloader folder on your sd card.
