Can someone please explain to me what the deal with the Quake channel is?

I see theres a PAL, NTSC and Full version.


ive got a pal wii


Theres a readme in the 2mb PAL ver which says "Copy Quake's PAK0.PAK (and PAK1.PAK if you own the full version) into the ID1 folder on your SD Card."

Now, PAK0 is not in the PAL rar anywhere.

In the full version is PAK0, PAK1, S0, CONFIG and WII all located in the ID1 folder

So am I to assume you put that ID1 folder the root of your sd card, then install the PAL wad with wad manager like normal, and it'll appear as a channel?

I found this somewhere...can't remember where, but it works great! Plays xvid off of sd/usb/dvdr very nicely and doesn't code dump on exit. You'll need DVDX for it to work.
