If your wii drive isn't capable of reading backups then you are out of luck.

I updated my softmods with ModMii and now my backups will not launch with NeoGamma. It reboots my Wii, luckily i had a NAND backup so its working again using my old softmod.
However, i was wondering, should i have reinstalled this cMIOS after i update my Wii with ModMii? It does update my RVL-MIOS-V10 or should i leave it out?
EDIT: Ok got it working, had to select the cMIOS download as well. Wii is now updated and GCN games are working fine

i) Installed WiiGator's cMIOS v10 (required) - This has been tested and working, because I am able to play a disc with a single game burned.
ii) Made the MultiGame ISO. - The two games are compatible.
iii) When I made the ISO, I followed the instructions. I shrank the two ISO files, then ran the FST fix. After doing so, two more ISO files were created on my Desktop. I then renamed them, created a MultiGame disc, and burned them to a DVD -R.
iv) I boot into NeoGamma, and press "Launch DVD".
v) When it boots, it proceeds to the MultiGame launcher.
vi) It reads "Drive (numbers)" OK!
After this screen proceeds, it goes back to the main menu. When I try to boot it again, it repeats, and proceeds to the menu again.
Does anyone know the solution?
Thanks in advance .

If you are only putting two games on the disc, then do not shrink them. Then you will not have to use the FST fix.
Due to the fact that Megaupload has been shut down, I've had to switch to Mediafire, the download link in the first post now works, also updated with the latest NeoGamma r9 b56.

I finally got Neogamma to work in my homebrew and followed the game usage part of the guide to play my backup. When I click launch DVD it says error (00053000), disc id quickly, then says DVD-r + no cIOS! Im not sure where to go from here. I followed the guide and installed IOS 249 as instructed and am using DVD+r, which I know may not be the recommended type but should still work from what I understand. I burned Super Mario Sunshine using imgburn at my slowest speed(3x). If it matters the game was in .gcm format and not iso when I burned it.

FSTFIX isn't working for me. When I drag a compressed iso into it I get a message saying:
FSTFIX.EXE has stopped working.
a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
Also I had to turn off my antivirus because mcafee kept removing the fstfix.exe whenever I tried to unzip it. Is there anyway to fix this.

I just downloaded the package and get no problems like you mention above.
