If you are planning on buying a brand new Wii the you can go ahead and forget both of those options, unless you plan on a sundriver or wide. New wiis will not read burned games and usb loading for gc requires hardmodding. Either way, pretty sure you will need gc memory card.

I was just wondering, with the "new redesigned wii" the backward compatibility is out the door.
I know the new wii can be softmodded. Which means gc games can be possibly played on the new wii.

Is there anyway to save gamecube saves files directly into an external hdd or sd memory card?

    Thanks

On some games, no matter what region I select, it is like black and white with blue and orange lines. This is only on some games though and it does the exact same thing for the games that do if i use wiigator or neogamma. What do I do to make these games play in color? I know the disk burn is good because two games run perfectly on the multidisk and two on the same multidisk do this black and white with orange and blue lines thing.

Hello, I have not messed with IOS's and whatnot since about 1 year ago when I got everything working perfectly and how I like it (and all games still work). I want to play GC backups though, and I've never tried it. I ran SysInfo, and apparently, I have MIOS v10 installed. Am I good to go and I can try booting a backup (made with the programs you provided) on "NeoGammaR9beta49 fixed?" Thanks for any help. I'm making a NAND backup now.

I have strange problem. R button on my gamecube controller doesn't work, but only with 3 games on one DVD. On any other game, GC or wii the button works with no problem. It happened when i was playing Ghost Recon 2, and all games on same DVD don't respond when i press R button. Any fix?

    Hey guys,

how do you get your pal gc games to work with your pal Wiis using component cables. Ntsc games work fine here.

I've tried every mode I think?

Hello, I had a question about the NeoGamma UI. I'm using R9 Beta 52 since it was on the Wii already after using Mauifrog guide.

I have multiple isos on one disc after using the MultiGame iso creator and the games play fine (I didn't shrink any). When I launch the DVD with NeoGamma, it asks me to Select game: and I can see the game titles one at a time by pressing left or right. Also, I see the title "GCOS MultiGame DVD (C) GCOS TE. The rest is cut off at the edge of the screen. This selection just brings me to another menu with two choices, Boot DVD (which doesn't work) and Credits.

I had hoped the user interface would be a little bit prettier when selecting games, possibly even getting to see the logos for each game that I saw when compiling the isos using the MultiGame iso creator. Am I stuck with this menu?
