I am having problems with the following games:

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time / Master Quest
    Star Fox Adventures
    Mario Superstar Baseball
    SoulCalibur II

Zelda and Star Fox both just sit at a black screen shortly after I start them, and Mario Baseball freezes during the game whenever I begin a game of baseball. In SoulCalibur II, it occasionally brings up an error message while playing and I'm forced to restart the Wii.

Any body else by any chance have these problems? I've use Neogamma R9 beta 49 and beta 50 (I've followed the usage steps that were provided in this guide), and Gamecube backup launcher. Both always give me the same results. I've also tried playing games without shrinking them with MultiGame ISO Creator, but no luck there either.

Star fox is one that doesnt work or only partial but the others should work. What version of mios do u have installed? are u using decent media and burning at a slow speed? Are u sure the backup copies are good?

I am using the recommended media and am burning at a slow speed (Verbatim DVD -R and 4X speed, as this guide says). The backup copies are indeed good.

I am not sure exactly what version of MIOS I have installed. How exactly do I find out, and how or where can I get the version of MIOS that is recommended? Thanks

I've got RVL-mios-v10.wad installed. It still doesn't work.

I've also tried RVL-mios-v4.wad and that did not work either.

Reinstall the cMIOS using the mios v10 wad, but either should work fine.

It seems to me that you have a disc reading issue, try re-burning the games to a new disc or try cleaning the Wii laser lens. If you are using Verbatim media then view this thread. If you still get problems with the recommended media (at 4x) then try using a different DVD burner.

Stay away from starfox, that game is trouble.

I made one disc with 6 games that all tested fine.

I made another disc and encountered some issues. One game stuck on a green screen. Another worked but said the memory card was damaged.

The GBAtemp list mentions "You MUST boot it in Patched MIOS mode (B Button on backup launcher screen) or else it will get stuck on the green screen. "

Question 1) What is patched MIOS and how do I patch it?

Question 2) B button on the Wii Remote or on the GC remote? And which screen? I couldn't find any details on how to do this b button thing.

    Thanks.
Press B on Backup Launcher screen is referring to the old GC Backup Launcher, ignore that when using NeoGamma.

You should have installed the patched MIOS (cMIOS) using the guide in the first post. A green screen may mean an incompatible video mode, perhaps an out of region game. Try forcing a different region. Also remember that not all games are compatible with multiISO discs.

I have tried reinstalling the cMIOS v10, and I've tried both Neogamma and Gamecube Backup Launcher, but no luck. I also use the recommended brand of Verbatim (not the life series). I should also mention that the games are on discs with other games that work. For example, SoulCalibur II is on a disc with Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes and Batman Vengeance, both of which work fine. I've burned several games onto discs, all with the same burner and at the same speed on the same brand of discs, and have not had any problems except with just this small group of games.

I dunno. I mean if Star Fox is a problem game then that makes sense to not work, but does no one else have problems with SoulCalibur II, Ocarina of Time / Master Quest, or Mario Superstar Baseball?

I have cios38v17 installed from a old guide and installed mios v8 with rungc + WiiBackup Launcher support. After that guide didn't work I followed this guide and installed the files and tried to boot a multi iso game but it said a error and said dvd drive is too new.... This is the second time this has happened on a wii I tried to make play gc backups. Someone help.

Only Wiis made prior to mid 2009 can play backups from disc. The only workaround is to swap the newer drive with an older one.
