I followed this guide to a T, I have no trouble playing GC backups if they are single disc. My problem is trying to play Resident Evil Code Veronica X..

I tried playing RE 0 in separate discs only to realize I couldn't load the second disc when it came to that part in the game, therefore I was stuck. So I followed this guide, using Verbatim DVD-R, x4 speed on image burn, tried both verify and without verify, tried adding the two iso's without shrink and with shrink but I cannot get this multi game disc to work. It will show the name after the init part when I click play from dvd on NeoGamma, then it will allow me to select RE CVX, RE CVX disc 2, or RE CVX multi disc (don't remember exactly how it was worded). Well I tried each selection playing with all of the options described in the guide and it seems no matter what I do I just can't get a dual image single disc game to work.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

WiiPower claims to have multi-disc games working, perhaps nobody has tested this game yet. Did you read the NeoGamma readme and other text documents I included in the download, there should be something in there reguarding multi-disc games.

Here is some info you may find interesting
Put several GC games on a single game disc:
    MultiGame ISO Creator v3.5.4F+
    MultiGame ISO Creator v3.5.4F+.zip
(Attention: Please use "fstfix t" on all shrunken .isos, after shrinking, before putting on multi game discs. This should fix all issues with games that "don't work shrunken". And it might also increase the reading speed for those games.) The reason for this is that audio streams(.adp files) need 32KB alignment, but the shrinking kills it, "fstfix t" gets all files to 32KB alignment.

    "Fix" GC .iso files
Wiped GCM Fixer 1.5F also callled Fstfix 1.5F
    FileTrip - fstfix.exe 1.5f
Baten Kaitos works if both discs are put on the same multi game disc with MultiGame ISO Creator v3.5.4F+, and the 1st disc is patched with the options:
    FSTFIX BKdisc1.gcm t s g
    and the 2nd with these:
    FSTFIX BKdisc2.gcm t s f

    source

Thank you for your reply, and for that info which I have overlooked. I have downloaded both those programs but I am a little unsure of how to execute the process. First off when using the GC tool is it ok to open a normal .iso (which is what my backup is) instead of GC-iso (by selecting all files from the dropdown menu instead of GC-iso)?

Also if that is ok how do I use the wiped gcm fixer v1.5? I apologize for the newbness and once again appreciate your help. Thank you

Hey guys, I followed this guide on my soft modded Wii and it dropped my system menu back to 4.0, so all my original games (Mario Kart) want a system update before you can play them, luckly I have them on the HDD with configurable USB loader but is this normal for it to downgrade the system menu?

Yeah RE CVX must have been a limited production game, or a collector's item because it's not cheap for an older system game..

I actually found that Wii version and got that on a disc and played through it. Pretty good game there was a lot of tedious stuff involving dropping items and retrieving them but it was pretty good. RE CVX is the last non rails shooting one left for me to play so I'm hoping something will work with this dual game.

Is there any way of getting the second disc to load properly if I were to try and play them disc by disc? I'm sure they will work if they are separated bc it worked on the RE 0, but playing through half a game then getting stuck sucks haha.

Hey guys, followed the guide and everything works played some single and multi iso discs all good, hit a wall with resident evil 2 and 3. I get a black flickering screen when I try to load the game. Any ideas?
Also on mario kart: DD I'm about start a race and I get disc cannot be read error. Any help would be awesome thanks

Edit: Also I have Tales of Symphonia was wondering if I burn both separate discs to separate discs themselves when it asks me to swap discs will i just be able to swap them or do i need to make a multi game iso disc with some sort of patch?
