I use multi-game iso creator to build an iso of 3 or more games and neogamma to launch them. Not all games work but the disk should boot into the gamecube menu or something like the cmios isn't installed correctly.
To expand upon the error from GCbooter, if this helps "Error: Could not read disk ID! (ret = -1)" Now this is my 2nd wii, my first wii was chipped, so no issues obviously, but the games im using on my newer wii are the sames backups from the 1st wii, so i know they were good burns. I've done the cmios install a few times, from diff sources, but end result is the same.

I got it going finally, I was on cios rev 13, decided to jump to 18 and now it works, although it should have worked on 13 as well, who knows! As long as it works I'm happy now!

I followed the instructions, but I am unable to run gamecube backups, I can run Wii backups with the Gecko os 1.9.3 but when i run gamecube backup launcher it tries to read the disk then resets. I have read this thread front to back and I see people mention something about a menu in the backup launcher.... I have never reached this!!!!! Is there a button I have to press? Is something else I have installed blocking GC backup launcher from working? When I try the other channels i have (Gecko OS 1.9.3 and uloader it just says NO DVD but im not sure if these load GC games well)
Also I have burnt about 10 DVD's with the Verbatim -R as well as memorex and Ridata (with no success) Tried burning the Multiboot as well.
    Any ideas are appreciated!
    Thanks,

This may also be relevant, the screen goes green right before it resets when trying to run a GC backup form the GC launcher.
    Thanks

I'm sorry for all the posts, but I wanted to update on any progress I made. I tried running the GC launcher from the HBC instead of installing it as a wad. I was able to bring up the menu by pressing hte B button...... I got it to work ONCE, but when I did it started to run VERY VERY slowly and then it just stopped. All the other times I now get a:
"Failed to read DVD 216" and
    "Error 0x31100"

    Thanks!

    2 Disc Games

Alright boys here comes the mother of all questions.

I have my Wii Soft Modded - works fine no problems. Homebrew Channel is upside down, but I don't care.
I have been playing burned GameCube games no issues. I got Metal Gear Twin Snakes (burned) and got through Disc 1 no troubles. Now its asking me to insert Disc 2, I insert it and then it says there's an error please reset GameCube.
I believe my Metal Gear is PAL.
Now I'm wondering how I can get my GameCube Backup Launcher (with Patched MIOS) to accept the second disc?

I am burning an NTSC version as we speak.

    Any help would be great

If playing from a multiISO disc
To enable switching discs you simply need to highlight disc 2 of the intended game and press the Z button. Then highlight disc one and start the game. When it comes time to switch discs simply eject and reinsert the disc.
but it looks like you're not using a multi disc, so you should just be able to insert disc 2 and it should work.

Maybe try inserting disc 2 and press the "Z", then insert disc 1 and start it and switch discs when prompted to.

I haven't had to do this yet, so please post back when you get it to work, so I can add to the first post.

EDIT - if you played disc 1 PAL disc, the game may be looking for disc 2 PAL version, NTSC disc 2 may not work with PAL disc 1.

Look here a similar post http://www.wiihacks.com/software-bac...tml#post232707

And, the compatibility list reveals this about softmod wii and Pal ISO
PRESS B IN LOADER.On Insert Disc2 Game Block And Not Continue. Cutscenes and audio desync sometimes. Works shrunken in multigame iso
