Semi-bricking: why it happens, and what to do about it

Well i think char mean after downloading the files, is an .rar file, but after extracting the file with winrar, is an .iso file. The .iso file is the same icon as the .rar file, so when trying to extract the .iso file, it cant be done.

So are we suppose to burn the .iso file into the dvd and let it auto run in the wii?

And on a side note, does doing this keep the 3.3 updates? or bring it down back to 3.2u update? I updated the jap ver game of fatal frame 4 and semi brick the wii, so after the update, can i still play the fatal frame 4?

Once you unrar and get the .iso then use IMGBurn to burn the iso to DVD and put DVD in Wii then follow on screen instructions.

I accidentally did the update from wario land shake it and it semi bricked my wii. Can i use the NTSC - U disk to work with the newest firmware. I can't get to my settings, but all games work

You can certainly give it go as long as your wii is also same region (NTSC-U) and if it doesn't work then you might have to use GeckoOS to load the disc.

I didn't realize there was an iso version availble. You can give it a try and see what happens.
