Hi.

I think I have a semi-bricked with a D2Ckey. My gf got a copy of Mario Kart PAL on her NTSC Wii and installed the update. Did not appear to brick it initially.
She initially had some problems with a couple of games like Pikmin 2 only showing up in black and white. After updating to 4.1 all the PAL games show up in black and white even if NeoGamma is set to ForceNTSC and even if the game is region patched.
I was following this thread and thinking about downgrading as instucted [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] and then applying the disc update; but it says there is a chance I might brick it for good if I apply a disc update after downgrading. Any comments?

Hi finaly i got my wii working... i sent it to a guy that solded a infectus chip in and dumped a new nand.... then it worked..... found it on a danish forum.
