you must be on 4.2 yeah? No need to worry, just dont downgrade (or update for that matter).
Hello, my Syscheck shows the following IOS's as "stubbed" is this a problem I should worry about? I guess I'm not planning on downgrading, so I probably don't need to worry about it right?
IOS: 4, 10, 11, 16, 20, 30, 50, 51, 60
Thanks for the great support
I have a green light but nothing onscreen. Verified cables are ok with 2nd wii. Console is 4.1 softmodded. Brought back from accidental 4.3 update. Was working fine after using 4.3 hacking guide. Now.......green light. Priiloader was installed but does not work. Help?
You said too never trust youtube, when i got my wii, that was the first place i went to searching for videos, since i'm a noob, i tought i could softmod my wii with some "visual aids"... Wrong!! ended up softmodding the wii with a guide i found on youtube, and then i discovered wiihacks
Best Thing Ever xD
hi. plz advice. I formated my wii when I was not supposed to do it. luckily my wii seems to be working but can't play PAL backups any more. if I softmod again will my wii brick?
well, first of all, thx for the info ^^
i have just some question.
does upgrading from the disk also remove the softmodding?
or theres another reason i shouldn't do it?
can i play any game even without updating my wii?
let me explain why i'm asking this xD
i have already used a modchip on my wii, that i dont even remember the name, but the site has gone off and i can't update my console, so cant play new games =/
so i decided to change the chip, but then heard about softmodding that sounds easier and safer but this nostalgic idea of not been able to update my wii just give me chills =X
The most common ones that require an update are 38,53,55,56, and 58.

so i'll need to constantly update my IOS in order to play the new games...
thx joostin ^^
