I have similar setup but not working:

    Brand: Toshiba
    Model: 1TB 2.5" 5400RPM SATA MK1059GSM
    Enclosure: Akasa Integral 2.5" SATA/IDE P2NMAX USB2.0 / eSATA
    Format: NTFS
    Firmware/Softmod: 4.2e / cIOS38 r19
    Loader: USB Loader GX r573 & Cfg_USB_Loader_56

The drive itself works fine in an my old enclosure but is 12.5mm high so I bought this new one to accomodate it. The enclosure is very nice and the eSATA is vey quick but it just doesnt work with the Wii at the moment. Will it ever be supported or should I look for another solution?

I have a Seagate - 320GB External Portable Drive ST903204EXA101-RK and it is compatible, so I would say that the 250GB model would be compatible. But the $54.00 for the 250GB seems a bit steep since I paid $38 for the 320GB at Meijers. The FreeAgent Go is known to be compatible, the FreeAgent Desk is known to have issues.

    Working:
    Size: 320GB
Brand: Seagate - 320GB External Portable Drive
    Model: ST903204EXA101-RK
    Format: WBFS and FAT32
    Firmware/Softmod: 3.2U
    Loader: USB Loader CFG

I checked out my local Meijer, but their clearance rack was all iPod cases and chargers. They did have some HDD's but they were $80. It'd be cool to get a decent size and stay under $50. I'll look for a little while longer, otherwise I may go for the Newegg.com - Seagate FreeAgent Go 250GB USB 2.0 Silver External Hard Drive ST902503FGA2E1-RK
