Please don't bump this thread, I will add the drives as soon as I get a chance and I do recall asking for the stupid posts to stop.

EDIT: posts have since been removed but this STILL STANDS!!!!

I advise you not to use an "Y adapter USB cable" (Two USB type-A connectors into one mini-USB connector) that comes bundled with some Iomega 2.5" hard disk drives, as it could draw excessive power from your Wii USB ports when you use both connectors.

Comes bundled with some Iomega 2.5" hard disk drives.

Well, I just did it and rendered a bricked on a three month old black Wii recently soft-modded.

    Brand: Seagate
    Model: Free Agent Go (ST903203FGD2E1-RK)
    Size: 320 gb
    Format: FAT32
    Loader: Cfg Usb Loader

Works great. I've also disabled the power saving function with Seagate Manager. I've tested it with Hermes cIOS'es and works flawless.

Works perfect; cost me a whole $50CDN at Walmart Drive inside is a
WD Caviar Blue SATA 3 Gb/s, 16 MB Cache, 7200 RPM, though I hear the HDs in side can vary from WD to Hitachi. Box states it as a portable drive but it's in fact not portable this I knew it comes with it's own power source.
