    Brand: Hitachi
    Model: Travelstar 30GB 4200RPM IC25N030ATCS04-0
    Enclosure: Coolmax HD-211-U2
    Format: 30GB WBFS
    Firmware: 4.2U

Works ok. It has issues with USB Loader detecting it then freezing. When that happens, I unplug it, turn on Wii, run USB Loader, then plug in when USB Loader says "Waiting for your slow USB device..." That seems to work every time and then it seems to load fine for a while (w/o that trick). I've played games for several hours without issues.

I know its not an issue w/ how I modded my Wii since I also have a 320GB WD passport that works just fine.

Brand:Western Digital Elements pocket hard drive
    Size:320gb
    Model:WDBR0320BK

    Firmware/softmod:4.0e,cios38rev14,cIOSCORPv3.6,bootmii/boot2,priiloader0.3rev45,USB Loader gx Channel.
I had some stack dumps when I only had about 4 games on the drive,
but when I got upto about 15 games the stack dumps stopped!
Now I have 33 games on the drive, and it works perfectly!

    Size: 320GB
Brand: Western Digital My Passport Elite
    Model: WD3200MLZ00
    Format: WBFS
    Firmware/Softmod: 4.2U, cIOS38 r14
    Loader: USB Loader GX(latest)

Issue: WBFS would not format or recognize this HDD until I removed the EFI factory partition.

Then use - Loading, Ripping, and Playing Wii Game Backups from an External USB Hard Disk Drive

    Brand: Toshiba
Model: HDDR320E04X (NOT the 03X drive)
    Size: 320gb
    Format: WBFS
Loader: USB Loader GX, latest (tried with gammaloader which also worked fine)
    Softmodded 4.2U (brand new system)

I've read of others having problems with this drive (on another database) after I ordered it, however it's been working flawlessly. Have a few hours into the new SMB, Zelda, wii sports resort, madworld and RE4 with NO issues what so ever.

    Hi,

I have Seagate External Portable 500gb model #ST903204EXD101-RK.
Everything working great with NTSC or Pal files. My question is, can I add a partiton for FAT32 for installation of HBC? Right now it on my 2gb micro sd card? Thanks
