Thumbs up Seagate 320 GB FreeAgent Go USB 2.0

Seagte 320 GB FreeAgent Go USB 2.0 External HDD
    ST903203FAA2E1-RK
    PN: 9KV2AG-572

Confirmed working on 4.2 w/ 10GB NTFS Partition and rest formattes WBFS. Aprox. 80GB load atm, working with USB Loader GX and WiiFLow.

    *** UPDATE***

After exceeding a (roughly) 50% storage load the HDD seems to be having issues with stability (with the Wii console, not xferring via PC). As of now, I would not consider this to be a "compatible" HDD. Will update in the near future to reflect and changes.

Hi new here...love this great resource on information for Wii hacking

figured I would provide some working data of my own...

    Western Digital Caviliar Black
    640GB NON-USB (*will explain below)
    32MB cache
    7200 RPM
20 games...played most of them over half-way...it works fine

*I connected the HD to a SATA to USB adapter and to my surprise it worked. Might I also mention that I have found many a machine that have refused to work with the adapter (namely laptops) so it was a refreshing break to see that the Wii can use it flawlessly

PS If anyone is attempting to use an adapter for this very purpose and it doesn't work on your Wii...contact me through PM and I will let you know exactly where I got the adapter from and what it is so you can get a compatible one of your own
