Wii 4.3E made in 2012 - stuck exactly by installing wad

    Hallo everybody,
i boght last week in Holland a Wii made in 2012 with v. 4.3E , since one week i am only reading and reading and reading ,today i have decided
finally to go ahead with hacking my Wii, letterbomb etccc. file extracted to (sd adapter using microsd 2gb all sandisk) 1st step installing homebrewchannel and bootmii went successfully, formatting sd card again and put the requested files, inserting sd card and chozen homebrewchannel and starting ,pressing on home and choosed bootmii , now is started successfully until i got the list where the wad should
be installed HERE i am stucked which the WII won't receive any signal from the controller and the controller stop (some times only the 4 blue lights blinking only ) and the wii won't react at all (tried this step more than 30 times) with no joy, and after 1 minute the screen gives only like white points rain then i should reset the wii and again and again the same happend , so why exactly at this step the wii won't accept the controller signal any more OR the controller only blinking. really i got crazy .
have watched also many youtube videos etcc.. which exactly what i have done is the same but on youtube they can move the cursor down and up BUT by me it freezes or won't react , please help really i feel sick now from that thing.

or maybe the microsd with adapter is not good for this step (ealier steps all successfully ,even loading bootmii or wadmanager is successfully loaded) why then this step by choosing or going up and down or choosing anything to install.

thanks in advance for any help or suggestion,
    dany

    Download wiimod v3.1
    Install it to sd:\apps\wiimod\boot.dol
    load wiimod from the HBC
Install all the wads from the wadmanager, very similar to MMM. Don't mess with any of the advanced features or ios menu, ect until you understand the app. Just install all the wads as the guide instructs.

FYI- your post is off topic and does not belong in this thread. In the future try to post in a relevant manner.

    Hallo Dear Sir Mauifrog,
Sorry if i am posting in the wrong thread Just please dir i want to finish this problem only then i will try to search carefully and to post in the right thread cause now
forgive me i am really confused and nervous alittle, (or please if you can add my posts to the right place then i can follow them their !)

wonderfull tool this wiimod 3.1, i have load it and got through it to wad manager and installed the 30wads successfully as in photo 1 in the attachment , then thourgh this wiimod 3,1 (in photo 2) tried to go through the app till i reached ( priiloader - as in photo 3) BUT again stuck in it(in photo 4) and controller behave the same as with wad's before the wiimod 3.1 ,also loading the priiloader directly from the app menu is ending with same result (so with or without wiimod is the same result ).
i tried to put another older priiloader but still the same ((i can still go to wii menu and all is ok so nothing bricked you can say)) ,,,
i don't know if installing another ios than the one installed i got now is beter to work with the priiloader to make it install through wiimod or please any advice ,

thanks a million again for you nice and highly appreciated help ,
    Best Regards

It is the wiimote that is causing the issue. Older apps do not work with newer wiimotes. For now skip priiloader install, but try to borrow an older wiimote and get it installed when you can or wait for a stable update to be released that supports your new wiimote.

    Hey Guys,

I am having a bit of a problem. I'm trying to Softmod a friends Wii, so I decided to try using Letterbomb and it told me "No Vulnerable Ios Found- suck it" and then click Exit. So I figured I would try this HackMii thing on my friends Wii. I put the including files including the "title" file from Letterbomb into the Private/Wii Folder on to my SD Card (formatted in FAT-32) and I can Load MMM but when I go to install WAD's I get a Error Ticket (-2011) on like 14 WAD's so I am stuck on installing WAD's on to my friends Wii. I have a Wii myself and followed the Softmod any Wii Guide and it worked for me and I was able to install all 30 WAD's without problems. Just seems like my friends Wii is having a hassle for me I've spent almost 3 days on trying everything and I can't seem to get it to work. I can install some WAD's but not the ones I need to install the rest of the Softmod.

I've tried using d2x-ciso-installer but it wouldn't install the WAD's I need, I tried using WAD Manager v.1.7 it tries to load but my Wii Remote goes off and won't reconnect also tried using the Classic Controller and still nothing on that. I also tried using cios 222 installer and still noting. and one more I tried was Custom IOS Installer by Waninkoko and still nothing!!! I tried reloading IOS 36 to install WAD's using MMM and still nothing.

Seems like I am stuck. Strange how my Wii I was able to install things just fine but with my friends Wii I am having so many problems. if Anyone knows the problem and would know how to fix it please give me full details on how to please.

P.S. I can't get any Channels installed or the Homebrew Channel I have to use HackMii/Letterbomb's Title file. Then I just click on the Message on the right side where the Message Icon is at then I click on the Red Envelope it loads MMM and then thats where I get stuck and can't install anything.

    Try this, format sd:\
install letter bomb to sd card
    Extract casper.zip to sd:\
    Run letterbomb, wiimod should start
    Select the app manager
    Load bootmii_casper
    bootmii should load
make a nand backup or run key_maker.elf from the sd loader in bootmii
    exit back to system menu
run letterbomb again, loading wiimod again
Now load cboot2_casper from the app manager
wiimod should reload under ios36 with AHBPROT

If all that works take the sd card out and copy the wads from CIOS-pack and Modpack from the softmod guide.
    Install all the wads.

    Try running hackmii again.

If it hangs loading bootmii or cboot2, try try again. It may work the second or third time.

Okay, do I copy the casper folder to the sd card? because if I have Letterbomb on the SD Card, and try to copy over the casper files inside the casper folder it will overwrite the boot.elf file from Letterbomb. I tried putting the casper folder inside the SD Card where the Private folder is and the "boot.elf" file from Letterbomb and it loads the HBC installer instead and wants me to Push "1" to Continue it gives me that "No Vulnerable Ios Found- suck it" then I have to click on Exit and it goes to a Blank/Black Screen and I have to shut off the Wii and turn it back on again in order to get the Wii Menu to load back up.

P.S. I believe Wiimod disconnects my Wii Remote and won't let me turn it back on in less I turn off the Wii and back on again. Does the same with my Wii as well.

*Edit* I was able to load Wiimod, I had to copy the Private folder onto the SD Card then copy all of Caspers files on the SD Card and it loaded Wiimodd, now heres where I am stuck again lolz. I see:

"IOS, Channels, System Menu, WAD Manager, Apploader, Change IOS, Check IOSs, Other Menu, Advanced Menu, Display boot2 information, Display Wii System information and Disclaimer and Credits".

I assume I click on Apploader, once clicked on I have to pick which source device (Wii SD Slot) then it loads the SD Card and I see:

    Apps
    bootmii
    private
    wad
    boot.dol
    boot.elf
    key_dumper.elf
    startup.elf

I am unsure which one to click on. if I go to bootmii folder and click on "ppcboot.elf" it loads a screen and says:

    sd:/bootmii/ppcboot.elf
    Entry point: 0x80003400
    IOS_ShutdownSubsystems() Done
__exception_closeall() Done. Jumping to ep now...

and that screen is frozen so I have to shut off the Wii and back on again to the Wii Menu, then back to Message icon and to load the Red letter up and back to Wiimod. if I go to the Apps folder and click on the "bootmii-casper" folder then the "boot.elf" file it loads and says casper v0.2 by giantpune path sd:/bootmii_ios.bin ios flags 254 v65281 and then loads the Wii menu back up. it does the same with cboot2_cios.bin.

    Any ideas?

P.S. in Wii Mod v3.1 it says Current IOS:80 v6944. Not sure if its suppose to be 36 or what. if so how do I fix this?
P.S.2. I tried probably 15 times now and I can't get bootmii to load or bootmii-casper to load. if I try to load bootmii-casper it tries to load but then it loads up the Wii Menu. Not sure whats going on. Can anyone help me out?
P.S.3. I just tried using Wiibrand to see if that would work and still nothing. I am stuck like majorly lolz. Can anyone reply with some details on how I can fix this issue? I've tried everything in the book I can think of anyways. Write back soon as possible please.

Ok, casper is working for me, so it must work for you as it is your only hope. Try to format your sd card with this
    https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/for.../eula_windows/

Or try another bootmii loving sd card. It could be the sd card your using 1-2g standard sd card is best, one known to work with bootmii.
