Just soft modded my virgin wii couple days ago from 3.4u to 4.1u i still have connect24 off in fear of getting a brick updated.

I guess my question is if i havent updated to 4.2 im good, but if i want to update use this tutorial correct?

And is it ok to turn connect 24 on after i do this update? ( I read its better to keep it off anyway but i like my weather channel

I can confirm this works on virgin wii's, bought mine yesterday, and before checking i let it update........
I now have hbc on my 4.2 lu64 wii!!
now i need to figure out how to get a usb loader to run.....
