    Wiiflow set USB failed: -3

    Hi,
I'm using the latest update of Wiiflow (and have tried previously released boot.dol versions) and playing WBFS games from my SD card. I have some games that play absolutely fine with no issues like Mario & Sonic London 2012, Super Smash bros. and Tiger Woods 12 but then others that come up with the error "set USB failed: -3" on the initial game load (like Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympics, New Super Mario bros and New Super Mario bros. 2). Just as they are loading there is a brief flash of green and then the error pops up. This happens when loading Wiiflow from both my forwarder channel and Homebrew channel...

    Can somebody help please?
    Thanks

reformat the SD card, reload the ISOs,
    then try again.

wonder if the latest wiiflow is compatible with your forwarder (theme) or not.

Exclamation USB Loader GX - Exception DSi Code + Stack Dumb ERROR!

    Hey Guys!

I've recently had my Wii Softmodded by a mate and i'm kind of new to the Homebrew Channel. I've gotten used to USB Loader GX but I was told by another friend to download and install "Pimp My Wii" and follow the installation instruction he gave me. I did it not sure on what it could do and it seemed fine. The problem is my USB Loader GX doesn't work anymore! On the Wii Menu I select USB Loader GX and the logo comes up for about a second then cuts out, after about 5 seconds it goes to Exception DSi Code and Stack Dump ERROR occurred then freezes. The controllers go out of sync and I have to Hard-Reset to turn the console off... HELP ME!!!

You need the Meta.XML in with the boot.dollars. you need hbc running on ios58

Hello! I've introduced myself already in the appropriate forum, but why not again? My name is Patrick, but you may call me Psnacks. Nice to meet everyone!

My issue has come up with the game, 'Kirby's Return to Dreamland'. When I first inserted the disc, I sensed there was going to be an issue when the game seemed to lag in loading on the main system menu. Sure enough, when it loaded and I started the game - it would show me the wrist strap message, flash to an image telling me to turn the Wii-mote sideways, and the cut off to a light pink screen that said, "An error has occurred. Press the eject button, remove the disc, and turn off the power to the console. Wii manual blah...blah..." My Wii-mote would then turn off, and if I attempted reconnecting it, the lights on the remote would flash and then turn off again. Getting off of this screen required restarting the console.

I tried booting the disc from CFG and GX with the same results.

When I attempted installing the game to my flash drive (works) I received the message, "WARNING: Read Error (-2)" (also a bunch of numbers in there starting with 1163...) also in both CFG and GX. It installed (attempted twice) all the way up to 99% before the error starts spamming the screen, then just finishes the installation - errors and all.
When I loaded it from the hdd, it did the same thing as it did when I tried booting the game from the disc - wrist strap screen, sideways wii-mote, error message.

Everywhere I look the "solution" either doesn't work or isn't there at all... not even on the first page of this thread. I've tried installing both v6 and v8-final of dx2 cIOS following the instruction of batching <56>, <149> and installing <57> <150> with it. I was unsure what to do in the slot maps, so I simply hit A again while the 200 slot was highlighted. I tried booting the game from the disc again from the system menu, and that didn't work. Then again in CFG and GX with the IOS settings set to auto/global, with another failed attempt when I set the IOS to 149. The same (-2) error appeared at 99% when I tried installing it, and the same old error message within the game when I tried loading from the hdd again with auto/global/149 IOS settings.

The game is slightly damaged with very light scratches, but loads up quickly and perfectly on a different, unmodified Wii. This has led me to believe that I am getting this because I messed up somewhere, or because the lens in my Wii is damaged - although my other games, Mario Kart Wii and Skyward Sword load up from the disc and hdd flawlessly...

    Here's a system check:

    Spoiler

Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

Psnacks, your iso is not any good. Try to make (get) a new iso dump of the game.

    Edit: Fixed, thank you!

"...A 'Kirby's Return to Dreamland' ISO converted into a WBFS using WBFS Manager 3.0 to a Sandisc Cruzer 4GB worked with CFG. Disappointed, however, that it did not install from my disc... Nonetheless, I suppose my problem is now solved - and the game really is amazing so far."
