    My Wii is 4.0u

When loading the Trucha Bug Restorer to downgrade to IOS15 – I do the proper steps outlined by the guide and then receive error -1035. I then go to the error index forum, and 1035 states its fix as the same way you fix error 2011. The fix for 2011 states that you need to use the Trucha Bug Restorer to patch the files. However, since the use of Trucha Bug is my problem in the first place -- what am I doing wrong?

@Hamusta - was there a previous attempt to softmod this Wii? Often the 1035 error code indicates a misbehaving IOS249. Why don't you run either SignCheck or syscheck, they are Homebrew apps that will run under the HBC menu. If you see IOS249 in the list of IOSes, then it is broken and you will then need to use AnyTitleDeleter to remove IOS249 ONLY. Be very careful when using AnyTitleDeleter-watch the screen and be very careful with pushing any buttons.

The other possibility with a 1035 error: it can occur if your Wii was originally a system menu 3.2 or earlier-in that case, you do not need to use the Trucha Bug Restorer as many of the core IOSes have the Trucha Bug vulnerability already.

Usually an error in the 11XX or 12XX range is typical for a D3-2 unmoddable drive. If your Wii was purchased less than a year ago, that's the most likely explanation. If it had previously played backups, then something's definitely wrong with your current configuration/setup.

no i have played a back up of the conduit on it before. So cud it just be the game, like the way i copied it? Or is it something to do with the neogamma settings?

This was via DVD and not an image or wiiware, right? Sounds like something's up with your IOS then. Best to do a syscheck on your IOS and report back the output.

I keep getting error ret=-2 when trying to use Waninkoko Firmware Updater 4.0u. What is ret=-2? Somethin' to do with the SD card?
