Thanks for your advise. I started my own post.

OK, I solved my problem. Now I'll see if I can help you fix yours. First off, you said you are on 3.3E firmware correct? Also, could you run a SysCheck with dop-ios-mod and post it as an attachment (it will create a file called DopIosModReport.csv on your sd card)? One last thing, which version of cIOSCORP are you on?
P.S. you should consider making your own post to work on this, so that it doesn't add so many posts to this one. I did that for my problem and linked from here to it so anyone reading here could follow the link if they needed info.

i got a wii a few days ago and i got it running emulators, i install hbc but i want to find a backup launcher and it's getting to the point were it's ticking me off trying to find one working for my wii.
its a ios61 v21.29 1.0.6
serial no. lu7386.......yadayada
symptoms: homebrew apps freezing, black screen, when trying to install some apps, i constantly get error ret -1
got a wad manager to get working and i tried some cios apps and it keeps saying installation complete when i tried to change it to ios36 r3351 but i dont know if it is truly successful because it still says ios61 v21.29, but when i enter some apps it says ios36 v3351 so....i dont know.... the backup loader is what's really killing me right now....so if you got anything useful, plz help
Followed directions to get Uloader to run NSMB and it worked like a charm.
Turned off my Wii and went to start playing again this morning and I keep getting -2 disc read errors from Uloader and now I am unable to run any discs in my Wii
I'm getting the FAILED (-1) error while trying to install BootMii as IOS.
I have a 4.2 LU4007 wii that I got before Christmas '09.
I'm using an 8GB SDHC which works sometimes, and I bought an 2 GB SD 2 SanDisk card which doesn't even get recognized by the Wii. Isn't this the one that's supposed to be no problems?
I don't know what to do now. Both cards fail in BootMii.
I've installed the Homebrew Channel using the tutorial here, and installed DVDX, too.
There is nothing plugged into the Wii. Don't tell me I have to buy another SD Card? Is there anything else? Sorry I've searched for this error on the site, nothing helps me.
Hi, im on a 4.1E menu with the new black wii's, softmodded it with Ios 249, installed Neogamma the latest one, everytime i try to load dvd-r (verbatims) i get 'Dvd read error 1142', this isnt in the database yet.
Has anyone else got this error code? i was thinking i might have the drive that wont read back-ups, i hope i dont.
Could someone help me please, im hoping i dont have to use USB loader as ive just burnt about 30 games off before i softmodded! lol
check you drive here Wii Drive Chip Database put the serial found on the bottom of the wii and it will tell you if you have d3-2 drive if so usb loading for you which is simpler easier and all the games on one thing
