That didn't help as much as I'd hoped.

    Your IOS33, 38, 53, and 55 are all more or less up-to-date.

Your installed IOS are very similar to mine, yet the EspalWii version PAL game works for me.

I wonder if it's a bad ISO or something. Try loading the ISO through Dolphin, Wiiscrubber etc and see if it gives you a problem.

Loading through Dolphin loads for me, it gives me a garbled screen but it shows the ISO is ok.

Wiiscrubber shows me the data is on the disc and shows me which IOS the update has, including the IOS33.

IOSPatcher tells me that my copy uses IOS33, although this may have been patched by EspalWii prior to release. The retail game, or other versions may use a different IOS.

The only IOS that is in use other than those that you have is IOS56, used primarily on music type games it has found it's way into one or two other games besides. Might be worth installing that and seeing what results you get.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Original Nintendo disc loading issue

Having got to the end of the guide we put in an out of region disc after selecting the region free option on the priiloader. This was the main reason for soft modding....it does recognise the disc (wii resort - uk disc us wii) but when start is selected it asks for the parental control code when thats inputted it the goes to a black screen and disconnects the remote....

    Does anyone have anythoughts?

    Thanks

    Error 1156

I got error 1156 and I'm not sure what it means.

I followed the guide for the new super mario and everything worked fine and I beat the first two levels. Now 2-3 days later I go to play and I get that error, and as far as I know nothing has changed. I'm gonna try re-burning the disc and see if anything changes.

I'd appreciate any and all input.

    Thanks.

Edit - reburning the game worked. I still find it odd that nothing changed from me playing to getting that error.

Just means that your boot2 can't be changed ad bootmii has to be installed as an IOS. I did my 4.2u this way and have a good nand backup and everything. You should be fine going with the IOS version.

D7)Installation of priiloader. After you install ios70patched, you are able to install priiloader.
-Find the only app in HBC that does not have an icon, yet says apps\priiloader\boot.dol, and load it.
-Read the instructions, and hold down B, and press + to use ios249
-Once it is done, reset your wii and it will take you to Priiloader menu
-From there, go to Hacks and check the ones you want. Block disc update and Region free ones are recommended. you can check what the others do here. If the systam says that there are no hacks available do the following:
GO HERE and copy the hacks for you system menu version into the hacks.ini that exists in the root of your SD card. Then save and retry. Be sure to leave a blank line at the end.

-After you are done, go to the Settings and change autoboot to System menu.
-Reset the wii. You are done!
If you ever banner brick your Wii (God forbid) you can access priiloader menu by holding down reset button while booting the Wii, then access HBC to undo the brick (yeah i know it rocks). After that you can install all the Wiiware/VC/channel wads you wish, without bricking fear.

    Hope that helps

This is the page: Click here
Go "HERE" isnt a selectable link. SO please update to include it correctly.

    Thanks for the update
