Guitar Hero 5 - Run from Disk Guide:

1. Install this wad.

[Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]

2. Download and run multicios, and install IOS 37 as IOS 232.
[Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]

3. Download and run SoftChip, make sure to use IOS 232 and make sure the 002 Fix is enabled.

4. Disk in, turn up, rock out!

Guitar Hero 5 - Run from USB Loader Guide:You need Wifi Access For This!

GAF's Wii Homebrew Tutorial: Hermes' Ios222/223

1 - Download this: [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
2 - UnRAR uloader_v3.0B.rar and copy the apps/cios_installer/ directory to sd:/apps/
3 - Find ehcmodule.elf in uloader_v3.0B folder you just extracted, copy and rename it to sd:/usb-loader/ehcmodule4.elf *make the folder and rename
4 - Start HomeBrew Channel and start the cIOS 222 Installer
5 - Read the warning message and push A
6 - Select IOS249 to perform the install with D-pad left/right and push A
7 - Select to Install Custom IOS 222 and select Use IOS38 merged with IOS37
8 - Wait for download and installation to complete
9 - Start HomeBrew Channel and start the cIOS 222 Installer again
10 - Select IOS249 "again" to perform the install with D-pad left/right and push A
11 - This time select Custom IOS 223 and select IOS38 merged with IOS60
12 - Download Configurable USB Loader; [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
13 - Download Universal Forwarder Channel; [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
14 - Unzip the SDUSB-Loader_cfg42.zip file and copy the contents in SDRoot: sd:/.
15 - unzip USBLoaderCFG_Forwarder.rar file and copy USBLoaderCFG_Forwarder-UCXF.wad to sd:/wad/
16 - Start the Homebrew Channel and run Wad manager 1.5. Download if you ain't have it; [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
17 - select USBLoaderCFG_Forwarder-UCXF.wad and install on ios 249
18 - Quit wad manager, quit homebrew channel.
19 - Now, in your wii system menu look for USB loader CFG channel, click on it and Start!
20 - Select GH5 game (press A) and in settings set it to use ios 222-mload, click A again and ROCK! XD

This is for ALL 3.X softmod users having issues to load GH5;

1 - You need first to Update to 4.1 (U,E,J) *be sure to select YOUR Wii Region:

2 - install cIOS38 rev14 or rev13b *make your own choice:

[Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]

3 - install cIOS222 *GAF's Wii Homebrew Tutorial: Hermes' Ios222/223:
3-1 - Download this: [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
3-2 - UnRAR uloader_v3.0B.rar and copy the apps/cios_installer/ directory to sd:/apps/
3-3 - Find ehcmodule.elf in uloader_v3.0B folder you just extracted, copy and rename it to sd:/usb-loader/ehcmodule4.elf *make the folder and rename
3-4 - Start HomeBrew Channel and start the cIOS 222 Installer
3-5 - Read the warning message and push A

I didn't need to do that with my 4.0 Wii, but I also wasn't able to get it to work with USB Loader GX or at least I didn't try to after finally getting it to work with Configurable USB Loader.

BTW I hope I can get it to work with USB Loader GX since I like the interface and everything much more.

There are reports on GBAtemp that IOS56-64-V5146 is not needed, so don't anyone go wild trying to find it.

i'm on 4.1u system menu
cios38 rev14 installed
i just read your instruction
and installed cios 222 through my homebrew channel.

1st: on ios 249, install cios 222 on ios 36 (default).
2nd: on ios 249, install cios 223 and merge ios 37 to 36.
3rd: launch "Configurable USB Loader" through homebrew channel.
4th: select guitar hero 5 by pressing (A) lol! and selected ios 223-mload
5th: press (A) again and ROCK!

i never installed IOS56-64-V5146
and i'm running the game perfectly!
and i read on some others forums from members, that the game dont work
even after installing ios56, always the same black screen and nothing happen

so dont install ios 56 if the only game you cant play is GH5 lol :P

I'm sorry dude but my game worked only when I've install IOS56, (it was my last attempt to play GH5, my first was Hermes custom).
