Sweet... that worked. Makes sense you might not be able to patch something you're currently booted to, but I wasn't sure. Thanks very much for all your help on both boxes I did... especially your responsiveness and willingness to assist. I've modded several platforms over the years and too many moderators eventually get sick of noobs and tell them they're essentially mongoloids who just need to read up more. Thanks again!

I made 30gb partiton and formatted it into WBFS, but still shows me an exception error (IS1) message.

I noticed that there isn't USB Loader channel on my Wii.
is that why I'm getting this message when I tried to install games?

This advice worked perfectly for me! I have a LU70xxxx that i just purchased in best buy, and had tried a million different things to avoid the -2011 error. This finally was the one that succeeded.

I really,really want to do this because it sounds easier then the previous methods but my brain aches. can someone write a PM or something to explain this in "dummy" terms. Don't like to annoy people when it comes to help but I am confused. I am used to dreamcast hacking but this is new. do I have to use the TBR and get IOS 15,patch it then boot with IOS15 through the HBC? I just want to know how this works before trying it.
