How to remove softmods and make your Wii a virgin

alright ill try that and when i add the 3 files from the program do i still need to have database.txt in the root as well?or just add i.e. apps>nandcleaner>(boot.dol, icon.png, meta.xml. < these 3 by themselves to the root of the sd card?

yea u can keep the database.txt on the root also for anytitle deleter. so you would have the boot.dol, icon.png, and meta.xml right on the root of your sd to run nandclean. then when your done with that clear your sd card and do the same thing for anytitle deleter which you would also have the database.txt. pretty much you only put one program at a time on your sd card this way. but like i said just make sure you follow this guide and when instructed to use these programs just do it this way.

hm i tried what you said i left the database.txt on the root of the sd card and when i added boot.dol, icon.png, meta.xml. i go to channels and sd card but nothing loads even though they are all on the root of the card

give me a minute and check back, it wasnt workin for me either but i think i got it figured out, just verifying it.

ok it seems in order to load stuff via that way it uses the same method as bannerbomb which requires the "private" folder on the sd card root also. so heres a link to get "my sd card contents" folder. quick format ur sd card so theres nothing on it, copy the contents of the "my sd card contents" folder directly to the root of ur sd card. after u have done that go into the apps folder then nandclean folder and copy the contents onto the sd card root. then try that method. when ur done delete the nandclean files off of the root and go into apps folder then anytitle deleter folder and copy those contents onto the sd card root, then do the method. any questions about where stuff is located when using anytitle deleter just ask.

help please D: btw bsmalley you helped me launch it so while doing nand i was deleting the preloader things and i got this message saying press + then - to delete the system menu app for v4 so right before i did that i noticed the warning and it said if i didnt uninstall it by wad manager i wont be able to launch my system menu thing is i dont remember installing it just hbc so should i go ahead with it or deny it?

you need to remove preloader first by updating or downgrading or installing a new sys menu wad, if you haven't done that then leave that option, otherwise you will get problems.

so should i deny it and then run the cios downgrader? then update back to 4 and then run this?
