Simple question like that. I see you used preloader, is that some kind of starfall?

I've followed a bunch of tutorial (since I wasn't able to run ios downgrader succesfully, always failed to download) and finally did my own with offline installation. But in these guide, I used startfall and backup loader neogamma (and for backup, bootmii is installed in boot2 to ensure nand restore in case of brick).

Should I install preloader or there's no use?

Great guide. BU's working a treat. Dogeggs, you are very helpful to us noobs. There is so much info out there but it was hard to decide which was current. This guide made it a piece of cake. I had spent many days/weeks researching all the forums and you look to be one of the most helpful out there at the moment. Nice work. Keep it up

Hi as per my yesterdays post every thing was working fine, home brew , preloader, backups etc, only today i accidentally pressed on wadmager whic installed ios36 a nanno loader, after that the wii gets stuck on corrupt file screen, how ever the preloader works and i can access home brew channel and wad magaer, please tell me how to fix this, can i install an ios which can fix this thru wad manager? if yes then which one.

use wad manager to uninstall whatever it was that caused the brick and you should be ok.

Hi, thanks for the GREAT tutorial; I've been struggling to figure out how to do it properly and yours made it very easy. (With the other guides I kept getting stuck at the cIOS Downgrader step as I have a 3.1U unit; yours is the first guide to clearly state that I had to do Step 2 as a "Prep".)

A couple of very noobie questions: Now that all the steps are complete, can I now remove the SD card and leave it out? Or do I have to leave it in there with the files intact?

Also, I used the TP method to install HBC. Can I delete the TP hack files from the Wii, or do I need to leave those intact as well? (I'm asking as I bought the game specifically for the hack, and I want to play it now and I don't want to mess up and click on one of the hack saves by mistake.)

You can take your card out now, there's nothing on there that is needed and you can delete the tp save too

Still all working fine. Just a couple of quick questions though if I may?
After following your guide and getting BU's to work. Can I switch Wiiconnect 24 back on with no worries? (Can I go online in games/weather channel /news channel without risking any problems with my wii?)
