I hate to add more questions to this thread but i am having problems with .wads

I have a LU64 with v4.0 and have installed the homebrew channel via the instructions here. I have wad installer v2.1, uninstaller v1.1 and manager v1.0, none of these will install.

I have installed FCE GX no problem with homebrew and SNEX9x as well, just not these wad installers. I really want them since wii64 is known not to be a very good emulator.

When i got the hombrew channel i show 1.0.3 IOS 61 v19.26, i hope that is enough information as i really dont know much about wiis..thank you in advance for everything

Hi Dogeggs, the same disc works on an older Wii.. so I am thinking some IOSs in the LU64 fix is missing for Mario Kart?

Alright, I ran title lister and got the list of files on my wii. The thing is, the list is HUGE and lists tons of files. My remote doesn't work when the app is loaded, so I don't know if there is a way to dump it to a txt file or something on my sd card, but for me to list everything that presented would take forever. This appears to be the entire list of hidden channels and ios, but i'm not sure if the app has finished listing or if it is freezing after listing ios4.

3 hidden channels: dvdx, hale, make

ios #s:

61, 16, 60, 55, 53, 51, 50, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, 33, 31, 30, 28, 22, 20, 17, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 3, 21, 9, 4

Hello Masters of tech, excuse me for my english but this is not my native language.

This is my problem: i just bought the wii lu65 in USA, (i`m in Colombia) then i toked it to ¨trained people- technicians¨to make the wii read backups. Then they tried to dowgrade it,they tried to install ios..huge mistakes!! now that im reading, they put everything they have on it, and i have to say im new in this..., but i have read now..
So.. now my wii doesn´t read the mii channel neither the wii fit nor the photo channel, it just black out and i have to turn it off..., am i ·"!$? i looked everywhere to get the modchip.. but here in the country it haven´t arrived yet... so i would like to:
1) now what kind of chip i need to buy it myself and install it here and where can i buy it?.
2) how can i return to my normal wii, i have 3.4u, can i upgrade to 4? in order to fix that problems??

This is probably a dumb noob question, but I am confused:

Step 5) Run LU64CIOS and select 'Network Install' only. Wad install DOES NOT WORK!

Does this mean I need to have internet connection to the WII for this step?

Yes you need internet or you will get an error when loading the cios.

Could I download the necessary file and put on the SD card to install?

download the [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] and put ios38 on the root of your card and do a wad install.
