That makes no sense, if a verified wiimote is connected it doesn't matter which system was used for the original verification.

Note I said "re-verify via the wiimote". What you describe is what I was referring to by that statement.

By "remembering only 1 system" what I meant was if the wiimote that was used for verification was not connected.

"Verification" is what is done when the actual disc is inserted and read. "Re-verifying" means doing that process again. What you meant was "connecting the wiimote" which is a lot less confusing.

I am not having any luck.

So far all I have done is take my hard drive that is working with devolution in this guide and hook it up to my Wii U and I can't get it to work. I am using USB loader GX on both the Wii and the Wii U but when I try to launch a gamecube game on the Wii U I just get a black screen freeze. I am not sure if this is normal behavior if I don't have the proper wiimote connected. It seems weird to me as I had difficulty sycing wiimotes in USB loader GX and as soon as I launch a GC game they all shut off.

I know I updated my devolution when the alternative controller and Wii U support was added and I had to reverify all my games, I did this and tried out a PS3 controller with Mario Sunshine. I don't even remember where I was reading how to do all that, I know it will eventually be added to the guide but I wish I remembered where I was reading about how to use the alternate controllers....actually I guess it doesnt matter since I cant get the game to load right now anyway. Maybe I should try the basic loader....

You didn't state whether you tried with the sample loader. Try with that first because it should be much more of a case of "it just works" due to its lack of requirements to get running.

That's what happens when you put the readme.txt in the gc_devo folder and not in the root of the ZIP archive.

It's been a while since I did anything with the attachments, I could've sworn the readme was in the root. I'll check tomorrow and put it there if it's not. I do know that it is definitely in the zip somewhere lol.

If I spelled something wrong, I'll just blame it on auto-correct

Actually you did it right, you put it in the root of the ZIP. I was referring to tueidj's official Devolution download.

Yes I realize that tueidj's official download link is not linked; I wasn't being all that serious with my comment, hence the ":P".

Personally I would have named the readme file "README - Devolution.txt" but that's just me.

Maybe I followed the guide when the read me wasn't included.

But yeah, I need to do more effort to figure it out. Thanks for the encouragement
