Your post was Moderated because it had links in it and you are a new member.

Sorry about that, it's fixed now.

    Modem In Devolution

For games such as Phantasy Star Online, does the author of the guide or anyone else
understand how to use the modem emulation in Devolution?

    I don't know

In addition to not having any 2 disc games I also don't have any online GC games.

Hello SNES_Master. I left this site for like a month and I see you have become a WiiHacks Staff member!!

Also, hello jax. I will try to catch up with the DIOS MIOS page from now. Or has devolution made it obsolete?

Welcome back! Don't worry DM is still around

It's up to 2.6 last I checked but I haven't used it since 2.3 so I can't say how good it is. I only know that it has added "Multi-Disc Support" since then.

I just switched to Devo cause, in my experience, it's more compatible with my game library. I have 5 games that have issues with DM but are perfect on Devo.

Ok everyone, just a little progress update. With the helpful info provided by Nintendo Maniac 64 I will be making a major revision to "Part 5b: Using an Emulated Memory Card" as well as making various clerical revisions elsewhere in the guide . These revisions will make it infinitely less complicated and hopefully noob proof. Keep an eye out in the next few days as I organize my thoughts in order to make the process as simple and easy to understand as I can; here's a little sneak peak, you will NOT need Dolphin for this guide ANYMORE!

Also a long needed update to the attachment as well.

Edit: due to the demands of life I'm not entirely sure when I will be able to make these revisions, but I will make them at some point. I will try to get on it this week, sorry for the delay but at the moment I have other things I need to take care of.

When I use CleanRip, I get as far as "Insert a USB FAT32/NTFS formatted device", then I get, "Error Mounting Device [00000000]"... is it because the device has 2 partitions and both are listed as primary? Should I make the one not for games be listed as "logical"? Before turning my Wii on I formatted the partition as FAT32 with the 32kb cluster as mentioned

In my experience CleanRip has trouble mounting partitioned devices, you could try making just one of the partitions be the primary one or if you have a spare USB drive (any size above 2gb) you could use that.

Planning on it when I've got the spare cash for another external... planning on getting a 3TB external and moving the stuff on this one to it and then using the current external for games completely (I decided to try partitioning off enough space for some games to try backing up my Wii and GameCube games before I got another external, no point in getting another if I couldn't get it to work, I thought)

I'll make the other partition logical instead of primary and see how it goes

Also, I should have asked already, what kind of USB drive are you using? Brand, size, USB 2.0 or 3.0?
