Thought i was able to play the iso's I've converted before that i played of the wode. But having to stick the original disk to verify is going to be a problem. My 3 year old has gotten to most of them... Wonder what a Skip Doctor would do with a GameCube disc??

    I don't see why it wouldn't work, a disc is a disc.

If I spelled something wrong, I'll just blame it on auto-correct

Other members have had good luck being able to verify with scratched up discs, they just weren't able to rip a clean ISO from them.

did'nt see you mention how to use a PS3 controller with this app ??? (sorry gor my English). By the way, the disc used to verify could be a backup disc?

I don't have a PS3 controller to detail the process with. And no, you can't use a backup disc. You need the retail disc...

Since this thread is 72 pages long, I only read the first three pages and the last three pages, so I may be misunderstanding this. Y'all talk about using the original disc to "verify." This isn't needed everytime you run the game is it? Kind of defeats the purpose of loading your games to disc wouldn't it? I mean, if I have to insert the disc each time I play the game,I might as well just run it form the disc.

On a side/related note, in regards to scratched discs and Disc Doctor - I've never had any/much luck with those. I found a company called Azuradisc online to whom I sent a Skylanders disc for repair. Cost me like $5 including shipping and it came back as polished and crystal clear as if it were brand new! When I sent the disc to them, it looked as if someone had taken a piece of sandpaper to half of the disc. I was amazed!

As stated in the guide, the verification process only needs to be done once unless the following scenarios apply.

    1) You're upgrading from a version of Devolution below r200.

    2) You attempt to alter, copy or otherwise tamper with the verification (.dvv) files.

Also deleting those .dvv files would warrant the need to re-verify, but aside from what's stated above, it's a 1 time thing.

If I spelled something wrong, I'll just blame it on auto-correct

There's a readme.txt with the Basic Loader for Devolution that describes how to use a PS3 controller....or at least there would be if SNES_Master hadn't removed it. >_>

Here's the download link for Devolution directly from the authors website:
    http://www.tueidj.net/gc_devo.zip

It always links to the newest version of Devolution and, at least as of this post, you can find the readme.txt file in apps\gc_devo inside the above-linked ZIP.
