You could at least look at the .BAT in notepad first before you finish for the day just to facepalm at the simplicity of it. :P

In other news, I'm removing the download link and deleting the archive now.

I took a quick look in notepad++. Pretty straightforward and, like you said, simple...don't know how I couldn't figure out how to do that lol. It's pretty late were I live and I'm about to call it a night so I'll give it a actual try tomorrow and host it on our downloads section (so long as you don't mind, I'll credit you of course). I'll also rewrite the section of the guide it's used for...and update GCMMs attachment while I'm at it, I forgot to do that earlier.

I don't need credit, it's not like I really MADE anything...

And you didn't even update the GCMM version? Good job ya derp. (then again I didn't notice either >_>)

It's sitting on my desktop still zipped lol. I had a long day so when I was doing the update for the guide it slipped my mind that GCMM 1.4b was also part of what I was supposed to update. I'll add it tomorrow.

Edit: Ok, add GCMM 1.4b to the guide. Will soon add the GCpadder batch file and instructions for easier convertion of memory cards (thanks again for that Nintendo Maniac 64)

Found the solution to my last problem.

    New questions:

    - What actions will cause Devolution to ask me to verify a disc again?

    - Where are the verification keys stored? Can I move them or back them up without triggering required re-verification?

    - Can Devolution store keys for multiple Wii/external hard drive combos?

As usual, thanks for any answers.

    1) Tampering with the Dvv files, once they're generated don't touch them...

    2) Verifications are stored in the aforementioned dvv files which will be in USB/apps/gc_devo...again, don't touch them lol

    3) This I'm not sure about. I've never attempted to share my games between Wii/Wii U's. I would assume it stores info for only 1 system + HDD setup at a time but I could be wrong.

Just to clarify, if your games are on the SD card then it'll be in SD:/apps/gc_devo

Be aware though, the dvv files are set to hidden so that you don't accidentally move them.

Yes, that is true. The reason I didn't mention that is I haven't written the guide to accommodate for SD loading...maybe I should at some point.

A particularly interesting test was just...uh, tested by a user on GBATemp. To quote:

Summary: When you rip a Gamecube game on a Wii via Devolution, you get three "keys":

KEY 1: External Hard Drive / SD card (?)
    KEY 2: Wii System
    KEY 3: Wii Remote

KEY 1 is always required, but you only need one of the other two keys. On the original Wii system, you can load the game using any controller, but if you connect the External Hard Drive / SD card (?) to a different Wii, you must have the original Wii Remote linked to that system for the game to load without asking for re-verification. If you verify a game on your External Hard Drive / SD card (?) while connected to a different Wii, all the games you verified on your original Wii will lose their "Verified" status!

Did a little testing on my own, using CFG Loader Mod:

Ripped and verified several Gamecube games on to External Hard Drive via Wii A, using Wii Remote X.
Verified Game 1 on External Hard Drive connected to Wii A with Wii Remote X - Game 1 loaded.
Turned off Wii A with Wii Remote X.
Connected External Hard Drive to Wii B with Wii Remote Y.
Tried to load Game 1 using Wii Remote Y - Devolution asked for Game 1 disc.
Verified Game 1 disc on Wii B with Wii Remote Y - Game 1 loaded.
Turned off Wii B with Wii Remote Y.
Connected External Hard Drive back to Wii A with Wii Remote X.
Discovered that "Verified" status was lost for ALL ripped Gamecube games on my External Hard Drive when I verified Game 1 using Wii B with Wii Remote Y.
Re-verified all ripped Gamecube games for Wii A using Wii Remote X.
Turned off Wii A with Wii Remote X.
Connected External Hard Drive to Wii B with Wii Remote Y.
Linked Wii Remote X to Wii B at System Menu. Turned off Wii Remote X.
Tried to load Game 1 using Wii Remote Y - Devolution asked for Game 1 disc.
Did not insert Game 1 disc. Turned on Wii Remote X - Game 1 loaded.
Turned off Wii B with Wii Remote X.
Connected External Hard Drive back to Wii A. Linked Wii Remote X to back to Wii A at System Menu, and turned off Wii Remote A.
Loaded Game 1 using Wii Remote Z. Also loaded successfully using only a Gamecube controller.

I hope this is helpful to someone.
