You'll have to wait for r205 to come out first

    The latest Devolution is r200.

Is there a way to change my .gcm backups back to a compatible format for Devolution? I'm trying to get NCAA Basketball 2K3 to work via backup and copied it and changed it to GCM... 2K3, the rarest of Gamecube games...

That's not actually the rarest of GC games. But that's beside the point, if the game is a full 1:1 (should be 1.36gb) then just rename it to .iso and that should work.

Edit: Appearantly it is considered rare...funny, I've seen it on multiple occasions at local game stores for $20 or less...

CleanRip has been updated to v2.0.0. Noticeable changes to the GUI (it looks..."cleaner" imo, lol) and, finally, it actually can properly verify GC rips!

USB loader GX has been updated, it now has button mapping for Devolution, very useful for those using Classic, Classic Pro, Wii U Pro and PS3 controllers. I will update the attachment tonight.

Edit: Updated USB Loader GX attachment to r1216. Also added explantion of a few of the new Devolution related settings USB Loader GX now has. I'm just about done writing up the portion of how to activate and use alternative controllers but I may not be able to add it in to the guide till next week (we shall see). Anyway, enjoy.

Edit 2: Also, I do not have a PS3 controller to test with this so I will not be able to list which buttons on PS3 correspond to which buttons on the GC pad. If anyone who does have a PS3 controller would like to lend a hand with that I'd appreciate it.

    devolution verification/resolved

I want to re-verify all of my gamecube games for use with a newer black wii.

All games have been verified on my old white wii using the one wii mote method which works but the problem
is that this wii mote must always to connected even after initial verification for the games to run. Must be verified every time a game is started.

Must I rerip all of my Iso's for native devolution support or is there another way of resetting the verification data?

    Thanks.

You don't need to re-rip the games. The easiest way is to delete the dvv files for the games you want to reverify. The next time you load those games you'll be forced to verify them again.

Make sure the WiiMote you want tied to the verification files is synced to the system and that the light on the WiiMote is blinking when Devo starts asking for the game disc.

As far as I've read (have not yet tried Devo on a non GC Wii or Wii U) you'll always have to connect the WiiMote that was used during verification process to play it on the next Wii system.

I forgot about the .dvv files, thanks.

Yes, it seems that way; an understandable protection feature.

Okay so USB Loader has the loader.bin in the correct place, but I get this error:

    Code:
To run GameCube games with Devolution you need the loader.bin file in your Devolution Path.
I have the file correctly place and it gives me this error.
    Softmod 4.2 US
    Games Played From a HDD

Did you set the custom path for Devo Loader?

Edit: You have to tell the USB Loader GX where the loader.bin is using the custom paths setting.
