    Question! What are those .bca files that are created when backing up my discs?

    They're a kind of copy protection, you can delete those.

    I followed the guide and the homebrew itself works, but when i try to load the same game in usb loaderGX it doesn't work, it doesn't even blink, but i verified the disc with devolution alone and it worked, so the problem isn't the backup, there is some kind of option i have to enable? the folders are all correct as the guide said btw

    You have placed the "loader.bin" in the apps/gc_devo folder? And you have set the custom path as such? Is this problem with one specific game or does it happen with any game you load?

    "You must tell USB Loader GX where to find Devolution's loader.bin so it can load the games. While in Custum Paths scroll down till you see "Devolution Loader Path" and press A on it. Navigate to sd:/apps/gc_devo, press the OK button on the bottom left of your screen, press OK on the pop-up message telling you the path has been changed and you're done."

    That should fix it, let me know if that works.

    Yes every file seems to be in place, the game is Mario Kart DD Pal, i tried with devolution alone and it worked, some other ideas?
    Maybe moving the backup in another folder messed up the check i made with devo alone or something

    If it worked via the Devolution app but not through USB Loader GX it's most likely the files placement/the custom path settings. Look in your USB loader GX custom paths settings and tell me what it says for main GC path, Devolution loader path. Also look at your USB drive tell me the place your game is stored as well as any details about the ISO (size, name, file type, etc etc). I'd like to help figure this out cause there isn't any reason it should work with the basic loader but not GX.

    GameCubePath = usb1:/gc/
    GameCubeSDPath = sd:/gamecube/
    DEVOLoaderPath = sd:/apps/gc_devo/

    Mario kat's folder is Mario Kart Double Dash [GM4P01]
    I made the backup with clean rip and GX seems to find the file with no problem, i even downloaded the cover

    Shorten Mario Kart's folder name to just GM4P01 with no brackets or anything.
