Not quite what you were expecting, but Crediar seems to be making his own Devolution-esque GameCube loader. Supposedly wiimote and classic controller support is too complicated but he does have PS3 USB controller support.

From Crediar's Twitter (LINK) - Relevant tweets:

I wrote a tool to test HID (USB gamepad) compatibility http://crediar.no-ip.com/HIDTest.rar Connect your controller and run it and report back! http://crediar.no-ip.com/0602094530COMPOSITE.jpg

I had seen that, sounds promising. I'd like to test it with a 360 controller. But I think I'll still wait for Devolution since it doesn't need to be installed.

AFAIK he hasn't said if anything has to be installed...he did state the following in his YouTube video's description however
The Mega Man 10 channel is just my lazy way of loading sneek, don't need any fancy banners

I tried using PS3 controller attached to my USB Hub on the 2nd port of the Wii. It blew up with a -7004. I asked crediar via his twitter account what that means.

He hasn't, I'm assuming lol. He did make Dios Mios which requires install but who knows, maybe this won't.

It work (or will in the future) on a Wii with no Gamecube ports/native compatibility?

I can't seem to get Resident Evil 0 to rip, I get an error. The disc looks fine to my eye and has played perfectly for as much as I have played of the game, but it's kind of hard to tell on these mini gamecube discs. Cleaning has not helped. I have a SkipDrx for Wii that has recovered several games for me but I don't think there is a way to get it to work on GC disc.

I don't have much experience with these discs, any suggestions on how to repair it? I was thinking of rubbing toothpaste on it.

You know, technically the ISO doesn't have to come from you...you just need your disc to verify the game.

Really? I thought the ISO and Disc had to be a perfect match...
