4 flashes means it couldn't mount the HDD...in a few hours I will update the attachment for Devolution to the latest (r196). That may help as 188 did have issues with some drives.
Yeah I read about that too. Fingers crossed this is what the issue is. Thanks.

That did it. Everything went exactly as it was supposed to. Thanks a lot.
Just out of curiosity, the loader.bin included with the various loaders; are they specific to the loader? Is that something you have to compile (is that the term?) with each new update?
I imagine its not as simple as opening a file in notepad and changing some text. I'm starting to understand how some of this works on a very basic level, so I'm just curious.
It's the same loader.bin in each attachment. Teudj compiles it for us, I just attach it for the guideOriginally Posted by Nsoul
Though I have been thinking it might be easier to link to/attach the loader.bin and the various USB Loaders separately. Being that they don't all get updated in tandem in may make maintaining the guide easier.

When using Devolution with CFG Loader and emulated memory where do the saves go? The memcard.bin in the SD usb-loader folder is a blank file, and I can't find anything else on my SD card or USB drive that resembles what I'd think it would look like (it's not in \apps\gc_devo on my USB drive).
Assuming your ISOs are on your USB, then it SHOULD be in the "apps\gc_devo" on USB like you said...
Maybe it's a hidden file or something? Also, is the emulated memory card actually working in-game? If it's not working then you most likely need to manually enable it via the USB Loader's options.

As Nintendo Maniac said, the Memcard.bin should be on your USB drive in the same folder as the DVV files. Ie, apps/gc_devo
The saves work in-game but there is nothing except dvv files in that folder.
There's no GameCube memory card plugged in, right?
